I thought that we were finished with 1 Kings 19, “Elijah, the Man.” At the end of the last message I just gave you some sketchy Scriptures about the judgments that were executed upon Israel for their murder of the Christ, both in the prophet Elijah and in their own hearts, and the Lord told me that I did not do a good enough job. This happens to me every once in a while. I do not really know why I do it. I just feel that something is not important enough to go into in depth, and I skip over it, and the Lord just calls me back and He says, “No, I want you to go into it in depth.”

So on the last message I could not find -- well, let me read you the Scripture first so you know what I am talking about. We are in 1 Kings 19, brethren. 1 Kings 19:15-18 relate what the Lor- -- excuse me -- what the Lord said to Elijah after he was completely restored to full stature. Now, remember, the Sons of God, the children of Israel, had murdered the Christ in him and the Christ in their own hearts because of their desire to hold onto their sin, and Elijah the prophet had exposed their sin, and instead of confessing that sin, they turned around and they killed him. So it was necessary for Elijah, or the Christ in Elijah, to be raised from the dead. We then found out that Elijah, having been raised from the dead, it is now God’s order to pronounce judgment upon those who killed him, and we see this judgment pronounced in verses 15 through 18.

“And the Lord said unto Elijah, ‘Go return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus.’” Damascus is the capital of Syria, brethren, Syria, the age-old enemy of Israel. “‘And when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria.”

We touched on that in the last message, and we found out that Hazael was a wicked king -- sorry about that -- Hazael was a wicked king who tyrannized and did great damage to the nation of Israel, and I did point out those Scriptures to you. Lord willing, we will go over them a little more carefully today.

Verse 16 says, “‘And Jehu -- and appoint [sic] Jehu the son of Nimshi shall thou anoint to be king over Israel.’”

So we see God anointing a tyrannical king over Syria that will raise Syria up to attack the nation of Israel. Then we see the Lord anointing and appointing a new king over Israel, and we will go over that in more depth today. We shall find out that Jehu was responsible for the death of Jezebel. [?He?] was also responsible for the tearing down of Baal worship in Israel and for the murder of many unfaithful Israelites who were serving other gods in the midst of Jehovah’s own chosen nation, who, by the way, was already in rebellion.

Does anybody know wha- -- who Israel was in rebellion against and what the nature of that rebellion was? Does anybody know? Israel was in rebellion against the God-ordained authority who was -- anybody? -- the king that sat on the throne in Judah -- the king that sat on the throne in Judah. The God-appointed king over both Judah and Israel sat on the throne of Judah. Israel seceded. Just as the South tried to secede from the United States at the time of the Civil War, Israel seceded. They refused to acknowledge -- I believe it was David -- well, no, it was not David at the time. Rehoboam. Yes, they refused to submit to Rehoboam as king, Solomon’s son Rehoboam, and they appointed their own king -- Israel appointed their own king, whose name was Jeroboam, who was not a descendent of the royal seed of Israel.

Jeroboam was a wicked king who introduced Baal worship, and not only introduced Baal worship to the Israelites, but as an act of his office erected golden calves in the nation of Israel thereby saying to his people, “There is no longer any need for you to pay or to go to Judah for the feast,” because every Jew is required once a year to go to the wail- -- to the temple, which we now call the Wailing Wall, in Judah for the feast.

So Jeroboam was a king that is --whose name is mentioned all through the history books, and they sinned after the way of Jeroboam, and they sinned after the way of Jeroboam, and they sinned after the way of Jeroboam. They set up golden calves, idols, sometimes in the physical and sometimes in their hearts. The sins that are an abomination to the Lord of Jeroboam is idolatry and Baal worship -- are idolatry and Baal worship.

So Jehu was appointed by God as king of Israel, and he killed -- or he ordained the death of Jezebel, who was the queen of King Ahab, who introduced Baal worship, and, of course, Ahab agreed to it in Israel, and then Jehu went and murdered many of the faithless Israelites in Israel at that time. So we see judgment now on two different fronts coming from a foreign nation -- judgment coming from a foreign nation under Hazael, judgment coming from within the nation of Israel by a God-appointed king, Jehu -- and we see the third source of judgment coming upon Israel in verse 16 -- the second half of verse 16.

“‘And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room,’” or in your place. “‘And it shall come to pass that the one that escapes [sic] Hazael’s sword shall Jehu slay.’” If you are not killed by the invading army, your own king is going to get you. “‘And him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.’”

In the last message I could not find the -- I did not have the time to put in and off the top of my head I really could not find what it was that Elisha did to Israel or what he was responsible for doing to Israel. I do have those Scriptures for you, and we will go on to it today.

Glory to God. So we see judgment on three levels: foreign army, sitting king and prophet of God. The first judgment that is recorded -- and this is why I could not find the judgment through Elisha. I was looking for it as to appear after Jehu and it did not. The first judgment that appears is Elisha, and that appears in 1 -- in 2 Kings 3.

2 Kings 3, we see that Ahab’s son Jehoram is reigning over Israel, and verse 2 says, “And Jehoram wrought evil in the sight of the Lord but not like his father and like his mother, for he put away the image of Baal.” Now his mother [sic] was Ahab and Jezebel, which both worshiped Baal. “Nevertheless, Jehoram cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.” So he put away the Baal worship, but, apparently, there was still some form of idolatry there in his heart.

Now, we see in verse 4: “And Misha king of Moab was a sheepmaster and rendered unto the king of Israel” -- that is Jehoram, Ahab’s son -- “100,000 lambs and 100,000 rams with the wool thereof. And it came to pass when Ahab was dead that the king of Moab rebelled against Jehoram the king of Israel.”

Now, why would that happen? Brethren, is a very common thing in life and in history that when one king dies someone who was under that king’s authority looks at the new king and makes a judgment that, whereas I was in subservient to your father -- I was in subservience to your father because I feared his military strength, I now look at you and I count the cost and make a judgment that I can defeat you.

So when a changing of the guard -- whenever a new king arises, whenever a new president arises in this country, whenever a new head of the ministry comes in -- there is always a shaking, there is always some sources of rebellion, there is always somebody that is saying, I know I could not take the sitting king was on that throne for years, and I was not even resisting because I knew I could not take him, but this new king -- there is always somebody that says, I can take him. I can take him.

So we see that Moab, which is one of the traditional enemies of Israel -- and Moab means -- and who -- does anybody know what Moab means?

[INAUDIBLE]

What? Evil prince? It means incest. M- -- he is -- Moab was a man who was -- the originator of the nation of Moab was a man who was the product of incest, and who was the incestuous one in -- who was the incestuous mind in man? The product of incest?

The carnal mind.

The carnal mind is the product of incest. It is the product of incest between different parts of our own soul. Excuse me. So Moab typifies the carnal mind, and we see when the king of Israel, who typifies the mind of Christ, OK -- when the king of Israel died -- when Ahab died, ri- -- well, Israel would not typify the mind of Christ. The king of Judah would typify the mind of Christ. So I would say that the king of Israel would typify the carnal mind with the imputed anointing because even though it is criminal -- the carnal mind is criminal, if God imputes authority to you, you have authority. So we see the king of Judah typifying the mind of Christ, the king of Israel typifying the imputed anointing, the carnal mind under the imputed anointing of Christ, and those are the two. Basically, those are the two. OK. So we see Moab, the carnal mind, rising up when the authority that had the imputed anointing died. Can you hear this? OK.

“And it came to pass when Ahab was dead that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel, and King Jehoram went out of Samaria at the same time and numbered all Israel.” That phrase means he called a draft. He called all the -- all of the men that were of fighting age to come and report and sign up for the draft. “And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king Judah saying, ‘The king of Moab hath rebelled against me. Wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle?’” And I am not going to read you the next few verses, but basically what happened is that king Jehoshaphat said, “Amen. I will be your ally in war.”

Now, there is supposed to be an enmity between Judah and Israel. Israel seceded from out of Judah. The Lord said to Rehoboam, “Do not go to war. This separation is of Me,” but the spiritual reality was that Israel was in rebellion, and there was not supposed to be -- certainly not the fellowship to the extent of being partners in a war, but we see that the kings of Judah were reprobate themselves and made leagues with Israel from time to time that was not of God.

Now -- and let me point out to you also. The prophet -- the prophets honored Judah because on the throne of Judah sat the God-appointed king. On the throne of Israel sat the king who had usurped authority, that was not appointed by God. So we see in verse 11 Jehoshaphat the king of Judah saying to the king of Israel, “Now that we have made a league is there are not here a prophet of the Lord that we may inquire of the Lord by him?” And one of the king of Israel’s servants answered and said, “Here is Elisha.”

Now, what do they want a prophet for? They wanted to know if they would be victorious in battle. The kings of Israel and Judah did not go to war unless God said go because they knew that they would be licked if they went without the Lord. And this is what the prophet Elisha, who, remember, is ordained to execute judgment upon Israel -- Elijah [sic] in verse 13 says to the two of them -- or he said unto the king of Israel -- excuse me.

“And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, ‘What have I do with thee? Get thee to the prophets of thy father.’” Who were the prophets of his father?

Baal.

The prophets of Baal. Amen. Go to your false prophets. What do you want with me?

“‘And to the prophets of thy mother.’ And the king of Israel said unto him, ‘Nay, for the Lord hath called these three kings together to deliver them into the hand of Moab.’”

So the king of Israel is saying -- I do not know who the three kings are. Who are the three kings, Lord?

“And the king of Israel said, ‘For the Lord hath called the king of Israel and the king of Judah’” -- I am sorry. I do not know who the three kings are -- “‘to deliver them into the hand of Moab.’”

So the king of Israel is saying, “No, you have got to help us. You are the prophet of the Lord, and do not tell me to go back to the prophets of Baal because no matter how bad we were in serving Baal, we are still being attacked by the nation of Moab, which is a totally reprobate nation. So give us the word of the Lord.” That is what he is saying. “I am not as bad as the other guy.”

This is interesting because I had this in the exhortation this morning. OK, now, listen to this. The King of Israel is saying to the prophet, “No, you have got to help us because I am not as bad as the next guy. I am not as bad as the people who are Israelites that worship Baal. OK, I am not as good as Judah, and I am not doing what I am supposed to be doing, and I am breaking all the rules of the Lord, but I am not as bad as the next guy. So you have got to help me.”

And Elijah [sic] says to him, verse 14, “‘As the Lord of Hosts liveth before whom I stand, surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah” -- the God-ordained king -- “‘I would not look toward thee, nor see thee.’”

He said, “You have no authority. You put yourself on the throne. God did not put you on the throne. You are not entitled to be a king. I do not even see you as a king, do not call you as a king, would not regard you, would not even look in your direction, except Jehoshaphat made a league with thee, and because the firstfruits is in a league with you I therefore look towards you.”

Do you hear that? Jehoshaphat, the God-ordained king -- if you wanted to put that in modern English for the church today, it would be like a heathen going to a prophet of God and asking for a gift and the prophet saying, “I would not even look at you.” And we will see further on that the prophet Elisha called the king of Israel the son of a murderer. Ahab was a -- who did Ahab murder specifically? Who?

The king of Israel.

No, no. Who did he murder? Who did he murder? Who did he notoriously murder?

Oh, it was the -- was it one of the men of the vineyard --

 Yes, --

-- of the vineyard [CROSSTALK]

 -- he --

[CROSSTALK]

 Naboth.

Naboth.

He wanted Naboth’s vineyard, and Naboth would not give it to him, so he murdered that man for his possession. And Elisha in another few verses -- we will get to it shortly -- calls the king of Israel the son of a murderer.

So it is like a heathen coming to a prophet today asking for a blessing of God and the prophet saying, “I would not even look in your direction, you son of the carnal mind. [UNINTELLIGIBLE] son of the devil. You are the daughter of the devil. What do you even do? Oh, but I see that you have someone that has a relationship with the Lord who is praying for you. I see that you know somebody that has been reconciled unto God. I see that you know somebody who has favor with the Lord. So on the basis of your relationship with that person I will talk to you; but you of yourself, forget it.”

And is that not our situation? Is not the Father saying to us, “On the basis of your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, I enter into a relationship with you”? We have no righteousness. Where do we come to dare to even think we might have a relationship with God? We enter in on the righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ, otherwise He would not even regard us. He would not even look in our direction. We are the offspring of a murderer. We are the offspring of the one who has killed righteous Abel. We deserve everything we get. The most we can hope for is to pray that in accordance with His word to us as the judgment falls on us -- and we deserve every judgment that we get -- that the Lord will turn it for our good because of our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

So now we see, starting with verse 15, Elisha seeks a word of the Lord for these kings, and we see a miracle.

Verse 21: “And when the Moabites heard that the kings were come up to fight against them, they gathered all that were able to put on armor, and upward, and stood in the border. And they rose up early in the morning, and the sun shone upon the water. And the Moabites saw the water on the other side as red as blood, and they said, ‘This is blood. The kings are surely slain, and they have smitten one another. Now, therefore, Moab, to the spoil.’”

I have read that so many times, and it is just recently that God told me that this is the use of illusion in warfare. Now, to the best of my knowledge, we do not hear anything like this in the ministry of Elijah. Does anyone know of a -- of this kind of miracle in the [?ministry?] of Elijah? No. This is part of the greater works, and we -- as the sons experiencing the greater works, we are to experience this kind of miracle-working power in our spiritual warfare when we are caught up. The deliverance of God through the prophet Elisha was an illusion that was imparted into the minds of the Moabite leaders. They looked out, and they saw the water looking as blood.

Now, remember, we have had instruction here that when illusion is imparted -- I told you that I used to think that the illusion actually affected -- the -- would have actually the water, but on a prior message I found out, no, it does not work that way. The mind -- now, listen to this. I want to suggest to you that the mind of the prophet Elisha penetrated the mind of the Moabite leaders and made them see out of their own eyes in accordance with what Elisha wanted them to see.

If you recall, we discovered that Elijah on the day that he killed the prophets of Baal used the godly equivalent of mind control. I do not know what to call it, but if it were practiced by the carnal mind, we would call it mind control. What did he do? What did Elijah do? He changed the minds of the sons of Israel, who were worshiping Baal at their altars. Remember when Elijah -- when Elijah challenged them they said not a word? And then in -- several verses down we hear Israel -- or the sons of Israel saying, “The Lord, He is God.”

Well, what happened? What happened? I suggested to you in that message that the Christ mind in Elijah in a warlike manner penetrated their carnal minds, in what we would call in an ungodly sense mind control, and changed their minds. How did that happen? The Christ mind of Elijah penetrated the minds of the sons of Israel and formed a temporary manifestation of the mind of Christ, and that mind of Christ covered over the carnal mind and cut it off from its ability to function, and those sons of Israel saw with the mind of Christ, and they said, “The Lord is God.”

We further found out that after the prophets were murdered that that temporary mind of Christ which was formed in the minds of the sons of Israel by the super-powerful mind of Elijah, which was likened to Christ in full stature, that that mind of Christ in the individual dissolved. And when it dissolved the sons of Israel were enraged and tried to kill Elijah.

I suggest to you here, brethren, that Elisha the prophet had a mind likened unto full stature. I may -- I do not know if that is exactly correct [UNINTELLIGIBLE] he had a superior Christ mind, certainly superior to what we have now because he had the power to penetrate the minds of the kings of Moab and form a temporary mind of Christ in them, which put the carnal mind underfoot, causing them to think with the mind of Christ which made a judgment what? The mind of Christ made a judgment that that water was blood, and that was how they saw it. Can you hear this?

And then of course -- so now listen. Listen to this. We see mind control on two levels. The first level is that they saw what the mind of Christ wanted them to see -- the water looked like blood -- and, on the second level, they thought what the mind of Christ wanted them to think, and what did they think? That the king of Israel and the king of Judah killed each other -- or -- and apparently there was a third king there. I am sorry for my ignorance, but I --

[INAUDIBLE]

What?

The king of Edom.

No, the -- oh, the king of Edom? OK.

[INAUDIBLE]

OK.

[INAUDIBLE]

In verse 12? Let us see.

Jehoshaphat and the king of Israel --

Edom.

King of --

 Edom.

 [INAUDIBLE]

OK. So the mind of -- the temporary-formed mind of Christ in the kings of Moab wanted the kings of Moab to believe that Edom, Judah and Israel had killed one another.

Now you are saying to me, Sheila, what are you speaking about? This is a lie. Well, there is another Scripture not too far from here where the Lord says, “And who shall go forth and be a lying spirit unto Ahab?” Does anyone not know that Scripture? God ordained that Ahab would die in battle, and Ahab was saying to the prophet, “Should I go up to battle?” And the Lord said, “Who will be a lying spirit that will go tell Ahab something that will make him go into battle that he might die?”

So we see that Elisha, by the superior mind of Christ in him, projected his vision -- a vision which was false -- into the minds of the kings of Moab, and he projected also a thought into their minds which was false, a lying vision and a lying thought. Did you ever hear of a lying wonder, brethren? Does that sounds familiar to you, a lying wonder?

Brethren, there are people in the church today, whether they are aware of it or whether they are not aware of it, who have minds which are able to make you see things their way which are not true and minds which are able to make you think things their way which is not true. And I want to tell you, you better get a hold of the Lord Jesus Christ because in this end-time ministry of mind control you are going to have to know what you are up against. And what is going to pull you through -- when someone has protected their thoughts and their vision upon you, what is going to pull you through is the memory of what the Lord has said to you.

For example, the Lord has told you that someone is a prophet of God to be revered, to be honored, to be respected under all conditions, and your mind fills up with someone else’s thought of hatred and enmity for that person; the mind of Christ will come to you. I am telling you I have experienced this. I am talking to you from experience. Your mind, your emotions are filled with hatred and enmity and evil towards this person, and if you are blessed, the mind of Christ will arise -- a voice, a small voice in the back of your head amidst the raging of your emotions -- and say, “But did God not say that this is His prophet?” But did God not say -- just what the -- just the way it was in Eden with Eve and the serpent. But did God not say that this is His prophet? Therefore, how could these thoughts that are raging through your mind be of Christ? You better start praying for this, brethren, because we are already in it. We are already in this end-time warfare. If you do not have it, and even I do not have it to my satisfaction, I am telling you, you had better start praying for it or your mind is going to be overtaken.

So we see an Old Testament expression of illusion and imaging and mind control, if you will, appearing on two levels, visual and in the form of thought, in verse -- in 2 Kings 3. We are in verse 23.

Verse 24: “And when they came up -- when the Moabites came up to the camp of Israel thinking they were all dead, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them; but they went forward smiting the Moabites, even into their country.”

Glory to God. So we see that Israel -- now, remember, this war was initiated by Israel because Moab rebelled against Israel, and we see Israel receiving the victory because he had a relationship with the God-ordained king. Glory to God.

Verse 27 -- this is an interesting point. It really does not have to do with our study today, but I will mention it to you.

Verse 27: “Then he took his eldest son” -- this is the king of Moab, we are told in verse 26.

Verse 27: “He took his eldest son and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall, and there was great indignation against Israel, and they departed from him and returned to their own land.”

We see that this heathen nation, at the realization of defeat -- or the king of this heathen nation at the realization of defeat offered up his own heir to the throne in the hopes of being victorious over Israel. And I would like to call to your attention or to your remembrance our studies in “The Temptation” where at one point Satan said to the Lord Jesus Christ, “I will even offer up my own son, the carnal mind, if you will just worship me.” Do you remember that?

Yeah, Satan said to the Lord Jesus Christ -- and of course it is impossible, but that is what he said to Him -- “I will let you -- I will let Christ rule. I will not have my carnal mind wage war against You anymore. I will tell -- I will let You kill my son, the carnal mind. I will join with You against my own; just worship me.” It is in there. We did it in the series “The Temptation.” So we see this sacrifice of the king of Edom [sic] as a purely satanic act. OK. Praise God. Hallelujah.

Now, we shall skip over -- well, we will start with 4:38. We will pick up with verse 38: “And Elisha came again” -- oh, did I skip o- -- did I miss something here? Excuse me. Would you put that on hold for a minute?

[AUDIO CUTS OUT]

I am sorry. We will go on to chapter 6 of the 2 Kings starting with verse 8. Please note that this is 845 BC. Fifteen years after Elijah’s defeat of the Sons of Israel and God’s pronouncement of judgment, we see this judgment coming to pass.

“Then the king of Syria warred against Israel and took counsel with his servant saying, ‘In such a place as this shall be my camp.’ And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel saying, ‘Beware that thou shalt -- beware that thou pass not such a place, for thither the Syrians are come down.’ And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of and saved himself there, not once, but twice.”

Now, what this is saying is that the man of God, Elisha, because of Elisha’s relationship with Jehoshaphat, is still protecting Israel, who is sitting under a false king. And let me just expound on that in case you did not understand it. Elisha heard the thoughts of the king of Syria. He heard the worry -- the warfare plans of the king of Syria, and he went and warned the king of Israel, and he said, “I heard the thoughts of the king of Syria. Do not pass by such a place because you will surely be defeated and be destroyed.”

So we see the end-time manifes- -- the end-time spiritual manifestation of Christ in the prophet Elijah [sic]. He is using illusion on two levels, visual and in the thoughts, and now he is hearing the thoughts of the enemy king, and it is another witness for you. It is a promise of the Son in the end time to know people’s thoughts. It is a reality. It is -- if you do not have it, it is a promise; if you are walking in it, it is a reality.

And the prophet Elisha warned the king of Israel, who -- the vagabond king of Israel, who was not appointed to the throne by the Lord, but who had the mercy of the prophet because of his relationship with someone that God had a relationship with. And we are told that two times the prophet Elisha saved the king of Israel’s life by looking out for him, and we are going to see the king of Israel’s ungodly reaction to this great gift that God gave to the king of Israel and his nation.

Now, remember, the king of Israel, and, therefore, all of Israel, did not deserve this ministry of the Lord, but they received it. One would expect their reaction to be gratitude. No, the carnal mind is never grateful for anything. The carnal mind expects and is expecting and believes that it owes nothing. This is a manifestation of the carnal mind.

Let us go on. Well, we will just finish this information on the battle. We will stay in chapter 6 for another minute. We see that Elisha warned the king of Israel about the king of Syria’s plans, and in verse 18 -- verse 8 -- I am sorry, verse 17 we see Elisha praying for the king of Israel. So now Elisha has warned the king of Israel, and now he is praying for the king of Israel saying, “Lord, I pray thee open his eyes” -- oh, I am -- I am sorry. This is the servant that was nervous because the battle looked so great.

“And Elisha prayed and said, ‘Lord, open his eyes that he may see.’ And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about the prophet Elisha. And when they came down to him Elisha prayed unto the Lord and said, ‘Smite this people, the Syrians, I pray thee, with blindness.’ And the Lord smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.”

So we see twice that Israel was saved from devastation by avoiding a trap, and now we see that the -- Israel, under the anointing of God coming through the prophet Elijah [sic], is aggressively attacking Syria, and at the word of Elisha they were smitten with blindness.

We see further on that Israel captures the Syrians, tells them that -- Israel approaches the Syrians telling them that they are their friends and that they will lead them to safety, but, in fact, take the Syrians to Samaria, which is the capital of Israel, at which point their blindness is taken away, their eyesight is restored, and the Syrians open their eyes and find themselves not only in the enemy camp, but realize that they walked without any resistance into the enemy camp.

And Israel says to the prophet Elisha, “What shall we do with them now? Shall we kill them?” And the prophet Elisha says, “No, do not kill them.” He said, “Set them free. Give them provision.”

Verse 23: “And they prepared a great provision for them, and when they had eaten and drunk he sent them away, and they went to their master,” the Syrians went to their master.

In verse 22 we see the wisdom of God: “And he answered, ‘Thou shalt not smite them. Wouldest thou smite those who thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? Set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go and tell their master about the great mercy of the God of Israel.’”

Verse 24: “And it came to pass after this that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all of his hosts” -- that is all of his army -- “and went up and besieged Samaria.”

So we see the king of Syria retaliating for this great humiliation, that his armies were captured and sent back to him to say, “Look at how great our God is. We did not even give you a soldier’s” -- did not even give them a soldier’s death. So, in retaliation to that, King Benhadad gathers up his army and attacks Samaria.

Verse 25: “And there was a great famine in Samaria, and, behold, they besieged it.”

Glory to God. Let me review this sequence for you. Israel obtains the help of the prophet because of his association with Judah. The prophet saves Israel from ambush twice, saves the -- Israel against the Moabites through the use of supernatural power, both with illusion in one point and then by smiting their soldiers with blindness in another point, yet we see -- and Israel obeys the prophet Elisha. They send the soldiers back to their king in utter humiliation, and now we see Syria retaliating.

So one carnal-minded person would expect the Lord, through the prophet, to intercede and give Israel the victory again, but God’s ways are not man’s ways, and we find out that even though God blessed Israel because of his association with Judah, OK, we find that God knew the whole time that the heart of the king of Israel was wicked and, therefore, purposed to bring judgment upon him.

Brethren, there are miracles being given all over the imputed church today, but God knows that the hearts of these men are wicked. Listen to me. He is healing people. He is giving financial miracles -- all kinds of miracles to the church that has not engaged in specific repentance. Why? Because of their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, but it can only go on for so long. God will judge your sin. God will judge your sin.

You see, He gives us gifts, and He says, “If My gifts could make you righteous, then there is no reason for judgment,” but the truth is gifts do not make us righteous. The truth is that when we have children praising them for the good things and ignoring the bad things does not make them righteous. It makes juvenile delinquents out of them.

And, for those who do not know, that is what is being taught in our society or has been taught for the last 20 years or so -- praise them for what is good and do not chasten them for what is bad. Well, we see a whole church world that has been praised for whatever is good in them, if there is anything good, because they come to church, because they praise the Lord, because they pray in tongues. They have received all kinds of gifts, but their heart is still desperately wicked, and, therefore, the judgment must fall.

And we see this occurring, judgment falling, on the king of Israel. We see that Syria retaliated and besieged Israel and caused a famine. Now, I call to your attention the fact that this famine was a direct result of Elisha sending the soldiers back and humiliating the king of Syria. So one would say what kind of a victory is this? Why would the prophet Elisha tell us to do that when he knew the whole time that the king of Syria would retaliate?

Brethren, it is time for judgment to fall on the wicked king of Israel. Why would the prophet Elisha tell us to do that when he knew the whole time that the king of Syria would retaliate? Brethren, it is time for judgment to fall on the wicked king of Israel, the son of the murderer Ahab, amongst other things, retribution for the murder of the Christ mind in Elijah the prophet and the Christ mind that had been formed in all of the Sons of Israel. We see the prophet of God, Elisha, setting up the king of Israel for judgment to fall.

Does anyone not know what I am talking about? Elisha -- oh, I am sorry. Israel is under a siege of famine because the Israelites obeyed the word of Elisha and sent the soldiers back, and God set this up to expose sin in the heart of the king of Israel. Let me show it to you. Let us ju- -- we are still in cap- -- chapter 6, verse 26. Famine all over Israel.

“And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall there cried a woman unto him saying, ‘Help, my lord, O king.’ And he said, ‘If the Lord do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barn floor or out of the winepress?’”

So the king is saying, “What do you -- I do not have any food for you. The Lord has not provided food for you. What do you want from me? I am just your secular king,” which is true.

Verse 28: “And the king said unto her, ‘What aileth thee?’ And she answered, ‘This woman said unto me, “Give thy son that we may eat him today, and we will eat my son tomorrow.” So we boiled my son and did eat him. And I said unto her on the next day, “Give thy son that we may eat him,” and she hath hid her son.’”

Verse 30: “And it came to pass when the king heard the words” -- these horrible words -- “that he rent his clothes and he passed by upon the wall, and the people looked and, behold, he had sackcloth within -- upon his flesh,” which means he was in mourning.

Look, brethren, he tried to move the power of God. He prayed and he fasted, and he even flagellated his own body -- he hurt his own body with sackcloth. He did everything he knew how to do to move the power of God to break this famine, and the famine did not break.

Have you ever been in a trial, brethren, that you have done everything you know how to do to break it off [?for?of?] yourself? You have prayed. You have fasted. You have given long hours to prayer. You have sacrificed on every level, and the painful circumstances of your life did not break. And this is the test. When you have given up all hope and your anger rages up in you, who are you mad at that your painful circumstance did not break? Are you mad at God and God’s servants, or are you sitting there saying, “I have surely sinned, and I deserve everything that is upon me” --

[AUDIO CUTS OUT]

-- that this is a test that comes under the category of tribulation. This is the kind of a test where the Lord is putting a line [?and plummet?] unto you. He wants to know who your mind is, and I want to tell you that every time without exception the carnal mind will condemn God and will condemn and try to kill God’s prophets. When you cannot get away from the pain of a painful trial that you have done everything you can to try and get away from, and you have failed to get away from it, you will turn against God and you will try to kill His prophet if your mind is carnal. If your mind is Christ, you will say, “I deserve everything that is coming upon me. Oh, God, have mercy on me.” Test yourself, brethren. Test yourself that you know whether or not you are in the faith. Have I lost anybody?

The Lord has had mercy on Israel, gave him victory in the battle, used supernatural power to help him, prayed for him, gave him great mercy, and now he is being tested to see whether these miracles have produced faith in the heart of the king of Israel. Supernatural miracles! Has it produced faith in God in you, brethren? We will find out when the fiery trial comes upon you. When your flesh is hurting, when you do not have food to eat or whether some other soulish need is not being satisfied in you, what will your reaction to this trial be?

Brethren, the gifts from God which are without repentance come only for a season, and after this season, the testing. And if the testing reveals that you are not Christ but that you are Satan’s child, the carnal mind, be prepared because you shall surely die. Either you will die spiritually or your carnal mind is going to die. The exhortation was on it this morning, and here it is right here. I am going to show it to you.

Verse 31: “Then the king of Israel said, ‘God do so and more also to me if the head of God’s prophet Elisha -- who has worked mighty articles for me and for my nation, who has prayed for me and my nation, and who has blessed me -- God to do so and more also to me if his head shall stand on him this day.’”

“How dare God allowed famine to come upon this nation! I will murder his prophet!” Do you hear it, brethren? Do you hear it? I tell you, in the carnal mind of man, whether God gives you gifts or not, at the slightest discomfort of one’s flesh, rebellion and hatred and murder towards God arises in that person’s heart; and since that person cannot touch God, he tries to kill His prophet.

And I declare unto you that this reaction would arise whether God had given gifts or not. Deliverance is not in gifts. The conversion of one’s heart is not in gifts. The judgments of God are merciful, brethren, for they shall produce the peaceable fruit of righteousness. The hardness of God, the harshness of God, the rebuke of God, despise it is not, brethren. There is life in it.

And Elisha says -- but Elisha sat in his house. He knew. He knew that the king wanted to kill him. This is the man that heard the plans of the king of Syria. This is Elisha. This is the prophet who read the thoughts of the warrior king. You think that this man, the king of Israel, is coming to kill him and he does not know it? You think he does not know what is in that man’s heart? You think he does not know his plans? If that is what you think, you are a fool.

This is the man that prayed him through. This is the man that gave him miracle healing in his life, and miracle deliverance. And you think because your carnal mind is mad at the trial that God put on you that He -- that you are going to tell Him and expect Him to believe the lies in your carnal mind about what your motives really are? You are very mistaken. You do not know what you are talking about.

“But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him, and the king sent a man from before him, but ere the messenger came to him, and said to the elders, ‘See ye how this son of a murderer has sent to take away mine head.’”

That is Elijah [sic]. That “he” is Elijah [sic]. Let me read it again.

“But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him, and the king sent a man from before him, but before the messenger came to Elisha, Elisha said to the elders, ‘See how this son of a murderer is trying to kill me. Look, when the messenger comes, shut the door and hold him fast at the door. Is not the sound of his master’s feet behind him?’”

First comes the servant, and then comes the guy who wants to kill him.

“And while he yet talked with them, behold, the messenger came down unto him and said, ‘Behold, this evil’ -- and he said -- and Elisha said, ‘Behold, this evil is of the Lord. What do you want from me? This evil is of the Lord. What do you want from me, you son of a murderer, you carnally minded person?’”

Chapter 7, verse 1: “Then Elisha said, ‘Hear ye the word of the Lord.’”

You see -- well, let me read this first.

“‘Thus saith the Lord: “Tomorrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel.”’ ”

What he is saying is the famine is going to break. That is what he is saying. The famine is going to break. You see, the famine, or the affliction to your soul, brethren, called the tribulation, will last until God has proven to His own satisfaction that you are or are not Christ. And in our circumstances, since we all know that we are not Christ, the trial is lasting until God has legally established that you are not Christ.

And how is that established? How is that established, that you legally are not Christ? Anybody? When you try to kill His prophet who has blessed you, who has healed you, who has delivered you, who has prayed for you, but when affliction touches you, you try to kill that man. That is the proof. So as soon as it is proven that the king of Israel is carnal, the famine can now end, and notice that all of Israel was under famine because of the sins of this king.

So we see -- I am looking for the judgment. I believe it is in verse 17. No, let me see. Yes, it is in verse 19: “Elisha said to the king of Israel, ‘And that lord answered the man of God and said, “Now, behold, if the Lord should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be that this famine could break?”’ And he said t- -- and the -- Elisha said to the king -- or of the king, ‘Behold, thou shalt see it’” -- see what? The breaking of the famine -- “‘thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not eat thereof.’ And so it fell out unto him, for the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died.”

So at the breaking of the famine, the evil-hearted man died. Now, this is Old Testament, brethren. I am telling you, the judgments of God are to establish your guilt, and your guilt results in execution, and then the Lord Jesus Christ raises you from the dead. You must be proven guilty. If you deny your guilt, you will not be executed; if you are not executed, you will not be raised from the dead. You must accept your guilt, or there is no resurrection. Jesus said to the Pharisees, “You say that you see. I come to heal the blind. You say that you see. There is nothing I can do for you.”

So we see the judgment on the wicked king of Israel; he died. And I declare death and pronounce death upon every wicked carnal mind in everyone that I have authority over, and I pronounce the resurrection from the dead upon [?you?him?].

So we see judgment falling on Israel at the hand of Elisha. Now, remember, the Lord’s ju- -- Jehovah said to Elijah many will be killed at the hand of Hazael, many will be killed at the hand of Jehu, and everyone else who is left is going to get killed at the hand of Elisha.

Well, how did Elisha kill them? Elisha was the vessel through which famine came upon Israel. Yeah, when Elisha told the Israelites to send those soldiers back with goodness and mercy it enraged the king of Syria so badly that he besieged Israel and famine was upon Israel, and everyone in Israel paid the price because God knew the heart of the king of Israel was not grateful or was not right towards the prophet for the miracles and the mercies that he had given unto him. Is everybody OK on this issue? We have done Elisha. Now we need Jehu and Hazael. OK, any questions up to this point? OK.

[INAUDIBLE] got a question.

You have a question? OK. Please put her on the mic for me.

You were saying, now, you must accept your guilt. I guess this is the guilt for your sins?

Yes. Now, it is not a malignant guilt. It is not a guilt that is condemnation.

I was just saying would --

 Yeah.

-- I surrender?

 Yes.

I [?have?] allowed my carnal mind to rise up --

 Yes.

-- against me.

 Exactly.

I gave it power [CROSSTALK]

 Yes, exactly.

And then the Lord will raise you [CROSSTALK]

He will kill your carnal mind --

And --

-- and raise you from the dead in Christ. OK.

[CROSSTALK]

So it is essential that we confess that guilt, and there is, I agree, a fine line between condemnation and guilt, but if you want to use this term of condemnation to support or to justify, you are not confessing your sin. You are the only one that you are hurting, and you are preventing yourself from being raised from the dead. If you want to justify yourself, that “I did it because” and that “you are telling me that I must confess my guilt” is condemnation -- I mean, if you want -- it is your choice if you want to abide in it. I am telling you that the end of it is death because you are dead already anyway, and if you abide in that, you are denying yourself the resurrection of the dead. And it is the sin of pride. It is the sin of pride to do that. OK?

Back in 2 Kings 3:22-23, I think it was, did God make use of a natural scene? Like, it was sunrise. It said it was early and the sun rose. He used the early, maybe, sunset to cause this illusion in their mind?

 Well, --

[?And then it?] caused -- then they were able to [INAUDIBLE] the power of God was able to put that thought into [?them that it was?] blood?

Yeah. Celie [SP], I do not know the answer to that question. The only thing that I know is that the power of illusion worked in that Elijah’s [sic] mind -- Elisha’s mind literally penetrated the mind of the Moabites and formed a reproduction of Elisha’s mind, which is a temporary mind of Christ, and that they saw -- literally saw -- with his mind, so long as he had the strength to project his mind into them.

And every time someone uses mind control on us, that is what is happening. They have literally penetrated our mind and reproduced their mind in us and are so powerful that they are forcing us to think with their mind.

Hmm.

It is mindboggling, but that is what is happening, and it happens to people every day and we do not know it. Domineering parents, domineering husbands, people do not like to hear this, but I am telling you it is the truth. It is the truth. And especially in situations where someone that has authority over you is very domineering, they literally penetrate your mind and reproduce their own mind in you and think through you and think for you, and you may think it is you, and you may not think it is you. And there is only one way to overcome it, that is legal anyway, and that is -- it is -- that is to rise up in Christ.

Now, some people in the world do have a strong mind, OK, but then it is like two rams just bucking horns against one another. And no matter how strong your mind is, when someone has authority over you, I really believe they can penetrate you. You could be the strongest man, you could be -- have a legally trained mind, you could be a lawyer, but if your father, who has authority over you, is determined to dominate you, you are going to have a real problem because the man has authority over you no matter how strong your mind is.

OK. OK. So are we on the first message there of the message?

Yeah.

Is it still the first message? Is everybody OK?

Mm-hmm.

OK. OK, we will go on now to 2 Kings 8. In verse 7, we see the account of Hazael -- how Hazael becomes king over Syria. Now, remember, Hazael is the king who is the head of the foreign army that is going to kill many in Israel.

Verse 7: “And Elisha came to Damascus, and Benhadad the king of Syria was sick, and it was told him saying, ‘The man of God is come hither.’ And the king said unto Hazael, who was his servant,” OK, “‘Take a present in thine hand and go meet the man of God and inquire of the Lord by him saying, “Shall I recover from this disease?”’ ”

I’d like to point out to you at this point that s- -- the king of Syria recognized the spiritual authority of the pr- -- of the Hebrew prophet, and I believe that the s- -- the authority which is in the Son will be recognized by people all over the world. The Son is beyond the church. The authority of the Son is beyond the church. We are sent to the world for all who have eyes to see and hear and that has the faith to drink at the fountain of the Lord, to cry out to God. We are sent to the world.

[INAUDIBLE]

That is awesome, yes. We are sent -- I believe that there are people all over this world that cry out to God on some level. They do not have the depth of a relationship with Him that we have, but they acknowledge that there is a God and they cry out, and we are sent. In the same manner that Peter was sent to the Italian band, we are sent. As God sends you, we are not restricted to the Church.

So Hazael, the servant of the king of Syria, is sent to the Hebrew prophet. Now, remember, in a prior verse Benhadad, the king of Syria which was sick, was told -- I do not think we read it today. We did not read that verse, but when Elisha the prophet read the thoughts of the king of Syria, the king of Syria said to his servants, “Who is a spy in my camp? Who has spied upon me and told my plans to the Israelites?” And King Benhadad was told, “There are no spies here. It is the prophet Elisha who has the power to read your mind.”

And then we see as King Benhadad is dying he sent -- he must have believed it because he is sending to this prophet to ask whether or not he will live. And remember that Naaman was a Syrian general who went to Israel looking for healing at the hands of Elisha also. So we see foreign nations acknowledging the spiritual authority on the Old Testament type of the sons. Brethren, we are sent to the world. We are sent to the world.

Now, Jesus was not sent to the world. Jesus said, “I am sent to the”?

[?Children.?]

To the lost sheep of the house of Israel, and we are sent to the world. The greater works, brethren. The greater works. Halleluiah.

Now, when Hazael confronted the prophet Elisha, Elisha said to him, “Thou mayest certainly recover; howbeit, the Lord has showed me that he shall surely die.” So you see recovering from your illness does not necessarily mean anything. That is why we need eternal life because we can recover from our illness and still die.

“And the man of God wept. And Hazael said,” verse 12, “‘Why weepeth, my lord?’ And he answered, ‘Because I know the evil that thou wilt do unto the children of Israel.’” Th- -- now, this is Hazael now. This is what he is going to do, prophesied by Elisha. “‘Thy [sic] strong holds wilt thou set on fire, and their young men wilt thou slay with the sword and will dash their children and rip up their women with child.’ And Hazael said, ‘But what is thy servant, a dog?’”

I mean -- “you mean, I am going to do these things?” Now, brethren, I want to show you this on the other side. Do you hear what Hazael said? “What -- who do you think I am, that I am going to do these things? I am just a servant of Benhadad.”

We see people in the church today -- I come to them and I will say to them, the Lord has called you to authority in the church, and they will say to me, “Yeah, who do you -- well, it is just little old me, housewife,” and I tell you that this is a manifestation of pride. The man of God prophesies over you or pronounces you or tells you that he has a vision that there is authority on you that may not -- may or may not be manifesting right now. If the prophet of God says, “I see authority on you,” and you deny it, it is a manifestation of pride.

Over here we see a negative manifestation. The prophet of God says, “You are going to do harm to the children of Israel.” And Hazael says, “I am not capable of such a thing as that. You do not know what you are talking about.” And I am saying that in today’s church the prophet of God will come to someone and say, “I have seen anointing on you. You are going to be a son. You are going to have power and authority.”

We have a whole church full of people, and I have had people respond to me this way. I have said, what about power and authority to the believer? And they will say, “Oh, that is pride. That is pride. The believer cannot have power and authority. I would rather be raptured.” That is what they say. It is pride. They will not receive the will of the Lord for His people. And in Hazael’s case it was a negative manifestation of the rejection of the word of the prophet.

So the Scripture says, “Hazael returned to his king,” verse 14, “and came to his master, and [sic] said to him, ‘What said Elisha to thee?’ And he answered, ‘He told me’” -- Hazael said to the king -- “‘that thou shouldest surely recover.’”

Verse 15: “And it came to pass on the next day that Hazael took a thick cloth and dipped it in water and spread it on Hazael’s [sic] face so that Hazael [sic] died” -- I am sorry -- “so that -- and spread it on King Benhadad’s face so that King Benhadad died, and Hazael reigned in his stead.”

So we see that the prophet prophesied correctly over Hazael, and please notice the double witness. It was the word of Jehovah to Elijah that Hazael would reign tyrannically over Israel, and then further on, 15 years later, we see Elisha weeping, oh, and, therefore, prophesying over Hazael for the evil that he will do to Israel. Both prophets prophesied over Hazael. Elijah and Elisha prophesied that Hazael would be a tyrannical king over Syria that would do great damage to Israel. Two witnesses. Glory to God.

Celie [SP]? I think that pretty much takes care of King Hazael, so the only one we have left to deal with is Jehu the king of Israel who would destroy -- or who would bring destruction -- as king of Israel, he would bring destruction up Israel itself. We find the account of King Jehu in 2 Kings 9, beginning with verse 14. Glory to God.

Well, let us back up. Let us back up to verse 1, 9:1. So we see -- again, we see the original prophecy to Elijah, and we see the reality of it coming to pass in the ministry of Elisha.

“And Elisha the prophet called one of the children of the prophets and said unto him, ‘Gird up thy loins and take this box of oil in thine hand and go to Ramothgilead; and when thou comest thither, look out there Jehu’” -- or look up -- “‘Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi, and go in and make him arise up from among his brethren and carry him to an inner chamber. Then take the box of oil and pour it on his head and say, “Thus saith the Lord, ‘I have anointed thee king over Israel.’” Then open the door and flee and tarry not.’”

Now, let me call to your attention that in 1 Kings 19, when the Lord prophesied -- when Jehovah prophesied the destruction that Jehu would do upon Israel or the punishment that Jehu would execute upon Israel, now check this out, God said to Elijah, “Go and anoint Elisha the prophet,” OK, and to appoint Jehu -- let me get the exact word here. I want to get the exact phrase for you. We are in 1 Kings 19. He says, “Anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi -- and Jehu the son of Nimshi shall thou anoint to be king over Israel.” God says to Elijah, “And Jehu the son of Nimshi thou shall anoint to be king over Israel.”

Now, in verse 19 -- we are back in 1 Kings 19, now, brethren. In verse 19, it says, “So Elijah departed and found Elisha the son of Shaphat who was plowing his oxen,” OK, and we go through the end of verse -- the end of chapter 19. We see the call of Elisha. OK. God gave Elijah three commandments. Let me give it to you again. Glory to God.

Verse 15: “‘Go return on the way to the wilderness of Damascus; and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria, and Jehu the son of Nimshi shall thou anoint to be king over Israel, and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah’” -- forgive me -- “‘shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy place.’”

Now, all I see -- as I finish out this chapter, I just see Elisha anointed. I just see Elisha anointed. Brethren, it is Elisha who anoints both Hazael -- or appoints both Hazael and Jehu. Can you hear this?

[?Yeah.?]

The command was to Elijah, but all Elijah did was appoint Elisha and then 15 years later, after Elijah was taken up in the fiery chariot, Elisha appointed Jehu and Hazael -- or Hazael and Jehu.

Now, brethren, this is what the Lord Jesus Christ is doing here. The Father Jehovah said to the Lord Jesus Christ -- He gave Him a set of instructions as to how to go out and save this humanity, and the second half of the instructions of Jehovah to the Lord Jesus Christ are being executed through the sons coming up in this hour. Can you hear this?

[?Yes.?]

Can you hear it?

Yes.

Halleluiah. Glory to God. Glory to God. Halleluiah. OK, we are back in 2 Kings, and we see Elisha, the second generation of Elijah, fulfilling God’s commandment, but what is mindboggling is that God commanded Elijah, --

Yeah.

-- OK. So here is a strong witness that God visits blessings on the next generation, just as God visits cursing on the next generation, and now we know also that God will manifest a call on somebody’s life in the next generation. If He calls you and you do not go, one of your children will go. Or He may call you -- can you hear this? People can get a prophecy and go to their grave without [?their?that?] prophecy coming to pass and think it was a false prophecy, but it will manifest in their offspring.

Hmm.

Can you hear this? Brethren, --

[CROSSTALK]

-- everything is from offspring to offspring. Cursing is from o- -- is from generation to generation. Blessing is from generation to generation. Incarnation is from generation to generation. Call on your life is from generation to generation. You sh- -- you and your whole household shall be saved. You do not even know what your household is. You and your whole house shall be saved. You do not even know what it is. Do not lose faith in God. Unless you have real reason to believe it was a false prophecy, do not lose faith in God.

When Elisha asked for the double portion of all that Elijah had, did -- performed a double portion of the things that Elijah did, but when Elijah was in his grave, a miracle took place when [UNINTELLIGIBLE] were touched. Is that symbolic of the generation [?of the children?]? [UNINTELLIGIBLE]

Well, I do not ha- -- I can just tell you what is on my heart, and what is on my heart is that that is symbolic of the anointing going to the heathen. Yeah, that is how I see it, the anointing going to the heathen, but I could be wrong. I -- normally, I would not -- I would tell you that I cannot answer a question like that in this service, that that is something I have to think about; but if God gives me something for you, I will give it to you, and that is what popped into my mind for whatever it is worth.

[UNINTELLIGIBLE] are you saying that Elisha [UNINTELLIGIBLE] that would be spiritual -- would be his spiritual son of Elisha that would get the blessings? [UNINTELLIGIBLE] saying just think it is going out to your generation, so that is a spiritual [INAUDIBLE]

Yes, I believe that Elijah typified the Lord Jesus Christ, and Elisha typifies the second generation of sons. So, yes, Elisha --

I do not know [?if that means?] [INAUDIBLE] [CROSSTALK]

OK. We will let it go. So Elisha is definitely the spiritual offspring of Elijah. Yes, the second -- spiritual second generation. OK. Boy, that really blessed me. That is just really exciting.

[?Good.?]

See, generation means nothing to the Lord.

[INAUDIBLE]

So a carnal mind in men say He is a wicked God that He punishes a son for his father’s deeds. As a matter of fact, I had a Scripture marked off, but I do not know what I did with it. I must have gone past it where it says that Aha- -- the reason the judgment was executed on Jehoram -- Jehoram is the one -- is the king who sinned against the prophet because of the famine and was trampled in the gate. The reason judgment was executed then was because Ahab repented. Ahab repented -- let me see if I can find that Scripture for you -- and the Lord said because he repented “I will not rain down the judgment in his lifetime. I will let his son have it.” It makes no sense --

[INAUDIBLE]

-- it makes no sense to the carnal mind at all, I have to tell you that. It makes no sense to the carnal mind at all. It is mindboggling to the carnal mind. Well, I do not want to take too much time on this message, and I know I marked it in my Bible. Would you put that --

[AUDIO CUTS OUT]

The death of Ahab, 1 Kings 21. Glory to God. This is after the robbery of Naboth’s vineyard by Jezebel and Ahab. The prophet pronounces doom upon Ahab. Elijah the prophet pronounces doom upon Ahab.

Verse 21: “Behold I will bring evil upon thee and will take away thy posterity” -- that is your offspring -- “and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall.”

Now, in case you do not know what that means, that means a male seed. Now, brethren, please take note that to have no children is a curse of God, but to have no male children is also a curse of God. To have all girls is a curse of God. Your name does not go on. It is not a blessing of God. OK, we are in verse 21.

And verse 22: “And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger and made Israel to sin.”

That is speaking about idolatry and the worship of Baal and the golden calves.

“And of Jezebel” -- now, that was the prophecy against Ahab. “And of Jezebel also spake the Lord saying, ‘The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel. Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat, and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.’ But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.”

Now, all you spiritual men out there please take note, God does acknowledge that Jezebel stirs you up, but you are responsible for whatever evil you do whether or not Jezebel stirs you up or not.

“For there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to the carnal mind to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, and this is the one whom Jezebel stirred up.” The buck stops with the man. “And he did very abominably in following idols” -- that is Ahab -- “according to all things, as did the Amorites, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.”

Now, here it is, verse 27: “And it came to pass that when Ahab heard this curse pronounced upon him that he ripped his clothes, and he put sackcloth on his flesh, and he fasted, and he lay in sackcloth, and he went softly.”

In other words, he shut his big, loud mouth, OK, and his big, loud mouth, we see it back up in verse 20, “And Ahab said to Elijah, ‘Hast thou found me, O mine enemy?’” You hear the big, loud mouth?

Yes.

Well, he is wh- -- he -- after he heard what Elijah had to say, he did not have such a big, loud mouth anymore.

Verse 28: “And the word of the Lord came to Elijah the Tishbite saying, ‘Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? Because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days, but in his son’s days will I bring the evil upon his house.’”

Now, to my carnal mind that is mindboggling. It is mindboggling that the evil is coming to an offspring that did not do this terrible deed.

[?Yeah.?]

But God does it, and we know that He also did it with regard to His judgment on Hezekiah. OK, now, another generation. So I do not have a full revelation on that. I am just pointing it out to you. I do not have a full revelation on it. I know there has to be an answer that makes sense because this makes no sense to me at all, but God is righteous. See, no matter how much I misunderstand, no matter how much I am hurting, no matter how much is wrong in my life, I declare the righteousness of Almighty God.

[INAUDIBLE]

And I want to tell you, if you cannot declare the righteousness of God in the midst of your trial, you have a serious problem with pride that could kill you. See, you do not get out of your trial by declaring God guilty and yourself innocent and not worthy of the trial that you are going through because God is righteous and you are guilty, and you are very worthy of the trial that you are going through because if you were not worthy of it, you would not be going through it. Or if you were wor- -- if you were not worthy and you were going through it, you would be raised from the dead in it. You are worthy, and God is righteous.

OK, let us get back to 2 Kings. I believe we were in chapter 9. Boy, we are all over the place today. This is good, though, is it not?

Yeah.

Good study. I am enjoying this.

9:1

 9:1, OK.

[?Yeah.?]

So we see in chapter 9 of 2 Kings, verse 1, that Elijah, through his spiritual offspring Elisha, is fulfilling God’s commandment to Elijah and dispatching one of his prophets to anoint Jehu to be king over Israel.

[?Over?] Israel?

 Is it not over Israel?

[INAUDIBLE]

Yes, Jehu anointed king over Israel -- Hazael king over Syria and Jehu king over Israel. So what is the first thing -- first of all, let me point out to you that Jehu receives the call. He does not say, “No, not me.” He does not say, “Oh, you must be kidding.” He does not say, “I am not worthy.” He does not say, “I have not finished living my life yet. I do not want it,” but verse 6 -- well, I will give you the prophecy. Verse 6 is the prophecy upon him -- upon Jehu.

“And the prophet arose and went into the house, and he poured the oil on Jehu’s head and said unto him, ‘Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, “I have anointed thee king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel, and thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master.”’ ”

See, you can rise up against the one who has authority over you if thus saith the Lord. It is legitimate to rebel against authority, even God-appointed authority, when God appoints you to rebel against the God-appointed authority. But if you think that God has appointed you to rebel against the God-appointed authority and God did not anoint you to rebel against the God-appointed authority, you are coming under judgment. So you had better make sure that it is God.

And the bottom line is that if, in fact, it was the Lord, He has anointed you to rise up against God-appointed authority only when that God-appointed authority is in rebellion against God because if the God-appointed authority is listening to God, what does He need you to rise up and rebel against him for? If the God-appointed authority is in submission to God and God says, “Step down. I have another king for the throne,” and the guy steps down, what do you have to kill him for? Can you hear this?

[INAUDIBLE]

So you better check it out if you think God has anointed you to rise up against authority. He may have. He may have, but you better make sure, or you will pay the price. Count the cost, brethren.

Verse 6 again. “And he arose and went into the house and poured the oil on Jehu’s head and said unto him, ‘Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, “I have anointed thee king over the people of the Lord, even over Israel, and thou shalt smite the house of Ahab thy master that I may avenge the blood of My servants the prophets and the blood of all the servants of the Lord at the hand of Jezebel.”’ ”

Now, this is almost 20 years later this vengeance of God is coming forth on another generation. So when you seek to avoid sin, you are not only seeking to avoid the results of sin in your own life, but you better consider your children and your offspring. And if you do not have children, you had better consider the children of your sisters and brothers, your nieces and nephews, because God executes judgment in the next generation. You better think twice before you sin.

Verse 8: “‘For the whole house of Ahab shall perish, and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall and him that is shut up and left in Israel. And I will make the house of Ahab like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah; and the dogs shall eat Jezebel in the portion of Jezreel, and there shall be none to bury her.’ And the prophet opened the door and fled.”

And this is Jehu’s reaction. I was a little ahead of myself before. He did not say, “Oh, you are kidding.” He did not say, “I am not worthy.” He did not say, “I do not believe it is me.” He did not say, “I want to get married.” He did not say, “I have not finished college yet.”

Verse 11: “Then Jehu came forth to the servants of his lord, and one said unto him, ‘Is all well? Wherefore came this mad fellow to thee?’”

You see, now, his friend or his servant thought the prophet was mad, but Jehu was the faithful servant of God --

[AUDIO CUTS OUT]

-- and I keep losing my place here. I am sorry. And, of course, the friends of the k- -- of the one who was anointed said to him, verse 12, “‘It is false; tell us now.’ And he said, ‘Thus and thus spake he to me, saying, “Thus saith the Lord, I have anointed thee Jehu king over Israel.”’ And then they hasted and took every man his garment and put it under him on the top of the stairs, and blew with trumpets, saying, ‘Jehu is king.’”

It took me a while to get that out. OK. Now, Jehu never once said, “I have not finished my life yet.” His servant said, “Is it true?” They questioned it, but I believe it was a godly question. Is it -- is this guy for real? And when Jehu said, “Yes, I have been anointed king over Israel,” those faithful to God rose up as one man, sounded the alarm and went forth to sit him on the throne.

Verse 14: “So Jehu the son of Jehoshaphat the son of Nimshi conspired against Joram.”

Now, check this out, God anoints a king while another king is already s- -- is st- -- not already, but still sitting on the throne. Man, this is a hard word. God anoints a king when there is a king sitting on the throne, and He says, “Rise up and get him off the throne.” Brethren, this is what we are commanded to do with our carnal mind. Our carnal mind is the sitting queen on the throne of our soul, and God has appointed Christ king of our soul, and Christ is to go forth and kill our carnal mind and make that commandment of being king a reality.

See, everyone hearing this message, if you think that Christ is going to stand up in you without a military campaign to remove the sitting queen, you have been deceived and you are a scriptural fool because it is not true. It is not scriptural, and there is nothing in the Scripture that would even indicate such a thing, that you should ascend automatically. It is a lie. From the moment Christ engrafts unto you the trumpet has sounded that Christ is the king of this human being, and if you think the carnal mind is going to let Him sit down in her place without a battle, you are mistaken and foolish.

So we see civil war in Israel. Glory to God, civil war in Israel. Well, if we continue on with verse 15 -- look at how this is weaving together.

Verse 15: “But King Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him when he fought with Hazael.”

So we see the judgment through King Hazael starting to coincide with the judgment that is coming through Jehu. King Joram is already wounded by Hazael when Jehu is anointed king by the prophet.

Verse 16: “So Jehu rode in a chariot and went to Jezreel, for Joram lay there wounded from Hazael. And Ahaziah king of Judah was come down to see Joram, and there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and he said, ‘I see a company.’ And King Joram said, ‘Take a horseman and run out to meet them and find out whether they are coming to make trouble or whether they want peace.’”

Verse 18: “And so there went one on horseback to meet him and said, ‘Thus saith the king, “Is it peace?”’ And Jehu said, ‘What hast thou to do with peace, you who are in rebellion against the living God? Turn thee behind me.’ And the watchman told saying, ‘The messenger came to them, but he cometh not again.’”

So I am going to skip a few here. King Joram sent out another messenger. He wants to know if it is for peace.

And we will jump down to verse 21: “And Joram said, ‘Make ready his chariot.’ And they went out against Jehu and met him.”

Verse 22: “And it came to pass when Joram saw Jehu.” See, first, he sent two messengers. Then Joram went himself because he knew something was up. “And he said, ‘Is it peace, Jehu?’ And Jehu said, ‘What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts are so many?’” Because -- and under Joram the king Israel was still involved in idolatrous worship. “When Joram heard this he fled and said, ‘There is treachery in the camp.’ And Jehu drew a bow with his full strength and smote Joram between the arms; and the arrow went out at his heart, and he sunk down into his chariot.”

Now, please note that the one appointed to be king over Israel by his own hands slew the sitting king. I am not going to slay your carnal mind for you. I will not slay your carnal mind for you. I cannot slay your carnal mind for you. I can strengthen Christ in you. I can help you to stand up in Christ, but you must murder your own carnal mind. You must murder her. You must hate her enough to kill her at the command of the Lord. I will never kill her for you. If you do not kill her, she will not die. You see, the Lord will wound her. He will wound her. He will wound her through me. He will wound her through painful circumstances. He will wound her, but if you do not draw that bow and put that arrow through her heart, she will not die, and you will not be born.

This is not a parlor game, brethren. It is not a parlor game where you go to church on Sunday and dress up in your Sunday best and look clean and neat and sing songs and wear a [UNINTELLIGIBLE]. That is not it. It is war. It is dirty. It is nasty. And sometimes the dirt gets on you, but the end of it is the resurrection of the dead. Do you want it? You got to go get it. Do not let anybody stop you. If God said that you are the one -- one of the people that He will back up if you go for it, do not let anybody steal your prize because everybody is not called to this. If God has offered it to you and you let it go, you are a scriptural fool.

OK. I am not going to read every verse here, but we see Jehu going forth in fierceness. Now, please note that Jehu was already a man at the time of his call. I suggest to you that we can relate Jehu’s call to our entering into maturity in Christ. There has to be a time -- I do not -- well, the war has begun for those of us here -- everybody’s [sic] here is in the war, but I do not quite believe it is the hour to put the arrow through the heart of the carnal mind. That will not happen until we stand up.

So we are in a race right now. We are in a battle right now to get our muscles built up so that we can pull back that bow and sling that arrow, but in the exact right moment we shall go forth. And I believe that that -- or that the event in the New Testament that lines up to this is the temptation when Christ stands up in full stature and we take on the carnal mind nose to nose and defeat her. And, of course, the arrow was crucifixion, amen? Glory to God.

We are in verse, let us see, 27 -- well, this is all the war here. Glory to God. In verse 30 -- that is all the civil war we see, and in verse 30 we see that Jehu comes to Jezreel and Ahab died, but apparently Jezebel is still alive. Jehu is directly responsible for the death of Jezebel.

And in verse 31 we see Jehu announced. “As Jehu entered into the gate, she said, ‘Had Zimri peace, who slew his master?’” Listen to this. Listen to the accusation of Queen Jezebel. Jehu did a deed that to the carnal mind of man was murder, but it was at the instruction of the Lord, so it was legal, and Queen Jezebel is using it right against him. Look at that accusation propelled by witchcraft. “‘You wicked man, who has slain your master.’” That is her defense. Attack is her defense.

Who is Zimri? [INAUDIBLE] [CROSSTALK]

Zimri? Jehu, I believe, is the son of Zimri. Let me just --

Oh.

-- check that for you. Y- -- uh-huh. Well, I am sure he is an ancestor of Zimri, and that is -- that was a common practice in the Scriptures. Even the Pharisees said, our father is Abraham. So Zimri must have been one of the founders of the tribe. I really cannot go back to it now, but I am sure that that is what it is.

Verse 32: “And Jehu lifted up his face to the window and said, ‘Who is on my side?’ And there looked out to him two or three eunuchs, and he said, ‘Throw her down.’ So they threw her down.”

Brethren, please note that the murderers of -- or the executioners of Jezebel were eunuchs. Do you hear it, brethren? They were eunuchs.

[INAUDIBLE]

OK. They were not -- they -- eunuchs are people who do not have a natural husband or wife. OK, now that not mean that you cannot be married. Let me explain it to you. It means -- to be a eunuch in Christ you have given over your whole strength -- your whole spiritual strength to the work of the kingdom.

Now, look, brethren, I am going to give you a hard word. Everyone in the world that is sophisticated or knowledgeable in the area of human sexuality knows that sexual activity drains your physical strength. Does anybody here not know that? Does anybody here not know that? If you are an athlete, you are discouraged from engaging in sexual activity. Does anybody not know that? If you are prizefighter and you have a big fight, they take you away from your wife and lock you up for two or three months where you cannot see her as you train for the fight. I am telling you the truth. It is an established medical fact.

The people who are spending their spiritual energy in things other than the kingdom of God are not eunuchs. Can you hear this? What I am talking about now is spiritual. What I am talking about now is spiri- -- you must be a spiritual eunuch. If you are using your spiritual energy to gratify or satisfy your soulish needs, the strength that you have to kill your carnal mind will be diminished. You must be fasting, brethren. If you hope to kill your carnal mind, you must be fasting from what?

[?From carnal thoughts??]

From the soul realm. You must be fasting from soulish satisfaction. All of your energy must be going into the kingdom of God believing that God will meet every legitimate soul need that you have. If you are out there beating a path to meet your own needs when God has told you that “I brought you into place where I am going to start doing it for you,” you are engaged in fornication and spiritual adultery, and you are spending your seed in an unprofitable way. Can you hear it? You do not have to believe it. Do you know what I am talking about?

[INAUDIBLE]

OK. If God has said to you, “I have brought you to a place in your spiritual walk where I want you to spot -- start spending more time with Me and do not worry about other pursuits,” and frequently those the other pursuits are earning money. If God has said it to you -- do not do it if God has not said it to you that it is your time, but if God has said it to you that it is your time and there will be a season of poverty, “but I promise to meet your basic needs, come and serve Me and stop spending all your energy earning money,” and you refuse to come, and you spend your energy earning money, OK, you are giving your spiritual strength to someone other than Christ. Can you hear that? OK. I tell you the truth. It is adultery, fornication and rebellion. Hallelujah.

So it were the -- it was [sic] the two eunuchs that threw Jezebel out of the window. Now, notice that Jezebel was in a high place. To be thrown off the terrace and die from the fall, you have to be up there.

[INAUDIBLE]

She was in a high place. And the eunuchs, the believers who were not spending their spiritual energy on soulish pursuits, had the strength to throw her down. Brethren, if you want to bring down Jezebel in your mind, you better be serving God with every ounce of strength that you have, or you are not going to bring her down. You are not going to bring her down because she is stronger than you.

There were two eunuchs. Who do you think the two eunuchs were? You and who else?

[?Christ??]

The Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ and Christ Jesus in you. The Lord Jesus Christ, your elder brother who has already overcome, and Christ Jesus, the new man being formed in you, together, pooling their spiritual energy. It took the two of them to bring her down. You need every ounce of strength that is available to you. Do you understand?

Now, do not be a fool, brethren. Do not go quitting your job when God did not tell you to do it. You have to be hearing from God with a personal word for your life. Jesus. You need your needs met. If your needs are not being met, then you go get a job.

Bill Britton did that all the time. Bill Britton was in and out of ministry for 15 years before the Lord established him, and he had a wife and a bunch of kids. Can you imagine having the responsibility of a wife and a bunch of kids and the Lord is calling into ministry [?and you are in all?] confusion in your mind as to what you are supposed to do? Well, what he did was he said, “Lord, I will serve you in the ministry with of minimum benefits so long as You provide our basic needs, and the day or the second that You no longer provide our basic needs, I am going to work.” Now, that is a righteous thing to say to you, Lord, and the Lord provided his needs for a season, and there were several times the Go- --

I had the same experience. God sent me back to work at least three times. Three times, at least, I thought I was home permanently, and it was devastatingly depressing when my needs were not met. And that was the sign, better get job, baby. I was devastatedly [sic] depressed over it, but I think it was the fourth time out when I finally overcame, and I said, well, all right, I am going to go get a job. That was when the permanent income came in. But as long as your basic needs are met, you better make sure that you are not spending God’s energy -- His energy in you on yourself because if you are, He will call you to task on it sooner or later. You cannot reap any good thing from it. Jesus.

So Jezebel was thrown down. She is cast down by the Lord Jesus Christ and Christ Jesus in us, --

[INAUDIBLE]

-- and we are told in verse 33, "And some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall and on the horses, and he trode her underfoot.” The horse trode her underfoot. Israel is the goodly horse of the Lord. Christ in us is going to tread the carnal mind underfoot. Hallelujah.

Verse 34: “And when Jehu was come in, he did eat and drink.” When Christ came in, He ate and He drank. He partook of the riches of the soul. “And he said, ‘Now, go see this cursed woman and bury her, for she is a king’s daughter.’”

How could the carnal mind be a king’s daughter? Anybody? The human spirit was involved in her.

[INAUDIBLE]

 Well, Satan is not --

[INAUDIBLE]

Yeah. Well, Satan is not the king, but the fact that the human spirit is involved there makes her the daughter of the king -- a perverse daughter of the king. Satan married the human spirit, and the human spirit is out of God, the King Jesus, the King Jehovah. It was close.

Verse 35: “And they went to bury her, but they found no more of her then the skull and the feet and the palms of her hands.”

Brethren, all they found was bone. Do you hear it? All they found was bone. The carnal mind was dissolved, and the only thing that was left was the raw human spirit. Satan had joined with the human spirit ty- -- the human spirit typified by bone -- spirit typified by bone. Satan had joined with her, formed the carnal mind, OK, and in this last hour, Peter says, the principalities and the elements are going to come down melting with a crash, and the soul shall be separated from the spirit and the joints from the marrow, and all that will be left will be the human spirit, which will then immediately join with Christ.

So the remaining of the skull and the feet and the bones is saying the carnal mind that was over Israel was broken down to its basic principle points and only the spirit survived. The bone typifies the spirit. In this hour, we are flesh and blood. When we are joined to the Lord Jesus Christ, we shall be flesh and bone. Flesh and bone. Spirit and flesh. Right now we are flesh and blood. We shall be spirit and flesh. Right now the blood of this flesh keeps us in existence. The life of the flesh is in the blood, but there is a change coming, and in that day of our change the Spirit of Christ in us will keep this flesh alive.

The Spirit is not keeping us alive today. You may recall me preaching that before. This is a shock to some religious people, but even if you have an imparted anointing, even if Christ is being formed in you, what is keeping you alive is the fallen blood in your veins. That is why if this body is killed, you need a miracle. You need to be raised from the dead as a miracle. If it were the Spirit of Christ keeping you alive, it would be impossible to kill this body. So come up out of your fantasy, Israel, and let us face the truth and confess that we are really dead and that we are unrighteous and that we are filled with sin and that we are desperately crying out for the mercy of God, and we are not going to make it. Glory to God.

Can I ask a question?

 Yep.

When Jesus’ body was killed, I know He was -- the Father raised Him up three days later, but His body was killed. [INAUDIBLE]

He agreed to it, and the way His agreement became a reality was that He breathed Himself out, of His own will and accord. The Spirit that was giving life to His flesh, which was Jesus Himself, breathed out of that flesh. You see, Jesus had flesh -- was both flesh and blood and flesh and bone. He had the two minds, of the carnal mind and Christ, OK? The truth is that the flesh and bone, that the mind of Christ, was keeping Him alive, OK?

So when they killed Him and His blood came pouring out from the crucifixion -- or when they tried to kill Him and His blood came pouring out from the crucifixion, He was still alive, --

[INAUDIBLE]

-- OK, because the flesh and bone of Christ was keeping Him alive. So it was not until He gave up the Ghost or breathed Himself out that the body could die, and that is why He said, “Father, thank God. Now that it is done, you know, You are leaving me -- You are forsaking me so that I can die and get off of this cross.”

[INAUDIBLE]

And the reason Jesus was hanging on the cross for the amount of time that He was hanging there and that He could not breathe Himself out before the proper time was because He was doing what? Does anybody remember what He was doing? What was Jesus doing in the realm of the spirit while His body was bleeding?

[INAUDIBLE]

Amen. He was crucifying the carnal mind. Hallelujah. Yes, He was. Yes, He was. Glory to God.

OK, let us finish this up. So I am going to -- that is enough for Jezebel right now, and I think pretty much that is it. Let me just see. I think I may have one more Scripture here. Actually, we are dealing with Hazael right now. I think that is all I have for you. Oh, no. I did want to at least just -- yeah.

OK. We are in Jehu right now, not Hazael. Jehu killed Ahab’s son -- his descendent Joram. He killed Jezebel, and now in chapter 10 we see Jehu destroying the whole house of Ahab.

“And Ahab had 70 sons in Samaria, and Jehu wrote letters and sent to Samaria unto the rulers of Jezreel,” and he is after their sons. I am not going to the whole thing, but we see that he kills the sons -- or the royal seed. Although I do not think the Scripture calls them the royal seed. All of the heirs to the throne of d- -- of Ahab is kill- -- are killed by Jehu.

[INAUDIBLE]

Verse 17: “And when he came to Samaria, he slew all that remained unto Ahab in Samaria until he destroyed him” -- now, notice that killing all the sons of Ahab killed him, singular, OK, because we are our children -- “according to the saying of the Lord, which he spake to Elijah.”

Starting with verse 18, we see Jehu slaying the worshipers of Baal. And now listen [UNINTELLIGIBLE] brethren, I want you to check out how Jehu did this because carnally minded men seeing a son of God doing something like this today would accuse them of great evil. Jehu conspired to lock the worshipers of Baal in the temple and locked in and slaughtered them. Any son of God doing something like this today would be told that is not Christ. God does not do things like that. Let us just look at it briefly.

Verse 18: “And Jehu gathered all the people together and said unto them” -- subtlety! Subtlety! Trickery! Christ would never do this! -- “and Jehu said to them, ‘Ahab served Baal a little, but Jehu shall serve Baal much.’” Do you hear it? Jehu said, “I am a worshiper of Baal.” He lied, brethren. He lied. He said, “I shall worship Baal and honor her.”

Verse 19: “‘Now, therefore, call unto me all the prophets of Baal, all his servants and all his priests. Let none be wanting, for I have a great sacrifice to do unto Baal. Whosoever shall be wanting’” -- in other words, who is not going to come to the sacrifice or this religious ritual -- “‘shall not live.’”

Now, Jehu was king. He is king, and he said, “Now, I am going to continue in the tradition of Ahab and Jezebel. I am going to serve Baal, and I want everyone to come to my religious service, and if you do not show up, I am going to k- -- arrest you and have you executed.”

“But Jehu did it in subtlety, to the intent that he might destroy the worshipers of Baal.”

Jehu did it in subtlety. He was sneaky. He lied. He was deceitful, and he was dishonest.

God told me to do it.

Who do you think you are kidding? God told you to do that! God told you to do something that would hurt me?

Brethren, you better check your brains. You better check your brains, and you were to -- better check your spirit because God does things like this, and before you accuse people that are known servants of God of doing wickedness to you, you better check it out because you shall reap everything that you sow because when you accuse God’s servant of evil when they are serving God, you have murdered them.

I thought only the serpent was subtle.

[UNINTELLIGIBLE] it says right there in verse 19. He did it in subtlety.

Do not tell me God would do that.

Verse 20: “And Jehu said, ‘Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal,’ and they proclaimed it. And Jehu sent through all Israel, and all the worshipers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal, and the house of Baal was full from one end to another.”

Now, listen to this. You are going to get killed if you come or if you do not come. If you do not come, you are going to get killed; and if you come, you are going to find out that they got killed.

“And he said unto him that was over the vestry” -- that is the religious guy -- “‘Bring forth vestments for all the worshipers of th- -- of Baal,’ and he brought them forth vestments, and Jehu went, and Jehonadab the son of Rechab, into the house of Baal -- and Jehu went into the house of Baal and said unto the worshipers at Baal, ‘Search, and look that there be here with you none of the servants of the Lord, but the worshippers of Baal only.”

Now, check this out. Check this out. Jehu -- verse 20, Jehu said, “Proclaim a solemn assembly for Baal.” Verse 21, it says, “And for those who do not come” -- where is it saying? Verse 19, if you do not come -- “for I have a great sacrifice, and whosoever shall not come, he shall not live.” That is verse 19. Whoever does not come shall not live. Verse 23 he says, check it out, “Make sure that there are no faithful of the Lord in here.” In other words, there was [sic] some that did not come, and if they did not come for righteousness’ sake, if they did not come because they were putting their lives on the line because they serve the living God, I assure you, they did not die.

Now, listen, at the threat of death, you serve God. If it means your death, you die. If it means your death, you die; but you serve God because if you do not, you are going to die anyway. You stand a better chance of being alive if you serve God. He who preserveth his own life shall?

[?Lose it.?]

 Lose it.

Verse 24: “And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without and said, ‘If any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him.’”

If you let him get out of here, I am going to kill you. If you let one worshiper of Baal out of this temple, I will kill you, a worshiper of the living God. I will kill you.

Verse 25: “And it came to pass as soon as he had made an” -- and this is Jehu -- “as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, that Jehu said to the guard and to the captains, ‘Go in and kill everybody in the temple.’”

Now, brethren, check it out. Verse 25, Jehu offered up a burnt offering to Baal. He not only lied and said that he would serve Baal, but he actually offered a sacrifice unto Baal, and I hope that you realize that no sin was imputed unto him. He was deceitful. He was dishonest. He lied. He offered pagan sacrifices at the instruction of his God, and you better not call Jehovah unrighteous. All you carnal-minded people out there, I rebuke your minds.

We are in the middle of verse 25. “‘Let none come forth.’ And they smote them in the edge -- with the edge of the sword, and the guard and the captains cast them out and went into the city of the house of Baal, and they brought forth the images out of the houses of Baal and burnt them. And they brake [sic] down the image of Baal and brake [sic] down the house of Baal and made in it a draught house unto this day. Thus Jehu destroyed Baal out of Israel. Nevertheless, the sins of Jeho- -- Jeroboam the son of Nebat who made Israel to sin continued. Jehu did not depart from them, that is, the golden calves that were in Bethel and that were in Dan.”

So J- -- and Jehu did this great work. He destroyed the temple of Baal and wiped out Baal worship, but they still worshiped the golden calves.

“And the Lord said unto Jehu, ‘Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in Mine eyes” -- I thought he just lied. I thought he was subtle. I thought he just offered a pagan sacrifice. And God says, “Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in Mine eyes”? -- “and has done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in My heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel. But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the Lord God of Israel with all his heart.”

For -- you see, he did this great work for God. A temporary Christ had been risen up in him. He did this great work for God, and as soon as this manis- -- this great manifestation of Christ waned, he could not hold his own. So we see that Hazael came in as a foreign army, and there were many dead of the men of Israel. We see Jehu came in and killed men, women and children in the temple of Baal, and we see that Elisha killed many by bringing a famine upon Israel in order to test the king of Israel.

And I suggest to you that the prophet Elisha did more than physical damage to Israel. Jehu and Hazael did physical damage to Israel, but I suggest to you that Elisha did spiritual damage to Israel. How so? Elisha, through famine, brought Israel to such a place that people were eating their own children. Brethren, this is a horrible spiritual judgment, to be brought down to such a low spiritual place that you are so desperate and without conscience, that the screaming of your flesh has such power over you that you would do such an abomination. Your flesh should not have power over you, brethren. These things should not be.

So the judgment that came through the prophet Elisha was a spiritual humiliation and a spiritual defeat of Israel that was a disgrace upon them. You see, to die in battle, it is an honorable death. You get an arrow in your back; you die in battle. To die at the sword of Jehu, well, that is not quite so honorable, being trapped in a temple and all that, at least it is a quick death. But famine? To die slowly from lack of food and to be so desperate that you devour your own children, that is a great spiritual humiliation, brethren, that I personally would not wish on my worst enemy.

Now, let us relate it to the new covenant. You could die a quick death. You can get knocked out of Christ and go on with the carnal life and live out the rest of your life -- Hazael. You can have your spiritual life knocked out -- Jehu. You can still continue to prosper in the world and go into the new age, for example, or you can go into severe spiritual defeat -- drug addiction, alcoholism, sexual perversion, adultery, fornication, every kind of wicked spiritual humiliation that is available in this country today. It is everywhere, spiritual humiliation.

So I would say that this country today is under the curse of a prophet. That is what it looks like to me, right? We are not being invaded by a foreign country. Our president -- well, I do not know about this president, you know, but we do not have a dictator that is killing the people in the flesh, although they are trying to take their religion away from people. But, basically, I would say that this nation in this hour is under the judgment of the prophet.

Now, please remember that the judgment came through Elisha came first. We are under the first stage of complete destruction, and that there is another Scripture in there. I do not think I am off -- too off, but it says that God began to completely wipe out Israel, and you may know that Israel was completely wiped out and the 10 tribes were dispersed. There is no more Israel. There is a Judah, which is called the modern-day Jew, but the 10 tribes of Israel are dispersed probably throughout Europe, some people say. That is not this message. You do not have to believe that if you do not want to, but do you hear this?

The spiritual humiliation upon this country. Now, according to this word of God, the next thing is invasion by a foreign army, and the thing after that is a dictator, OK, that is g- -- well, the thing after that -- I guess Jehu would have to be -- I do not know how -- what would we do with Jehu in a country where it is not a religious state? I am not really sure. I will have to think about that, so I cannot put it on this message. Unless God -- unless You give it to me right now, Lord, I do not know how I would relate Jehu to this country right now. I guess it would be -- OK.

[INAUDIBLE] new age?

No, it would not be the new age. It would be someone that God raised up to restore the nation, but to restore the nation through severe penalties. In other words, let us say God was ready to destr- -- to restore this nation. He would bring in a government that would put strict penalties on, let us say, drug addiction [?start?] with the capital punishment and executing people that sell drugs and start executing murderers and just clean up the nation by wiping people out. Yeah.

So we are on the first -- so, actually, there is [sic] two stages of destruction: the spiritual humiliation which comes from the prophet, invasion by a foreign army and then the destruction that is really the beginning of the restoration.

[INAUDIBLE] [CROSSTALK]

Please, please, please. Oh, God. I thought we were through with Elijah.

[INAUDIBLE] talk about a racial war. Would that possibly be in there somewhere?

A racial war. I would consider that part of the first stage because the third stage is death of evil influences that results in the restoration of the blessings of God, and I do not see how a racial war can fit into that. So I would consider a racial war part of the first stage, the spiritual humiliation, because that is a severe spiritual humiliation on a nation, to have a civil war or a racial war. That is most unfortunate. [UNINTELLIGIBLE] at least if a foreign army invades you, you are defending your territory, but a racial war is pure hate. It is horrible. Very destructive. Anybody else?

Was it a girl?

 [INAUDIBLE]

I always felt bad when I read this chapter in the past when we came to 31. After doing all those acts then he turns around, and he took no heed to walk in the law of the Lord God of Israel with all his heart, for he had destroyed not from -- for he had departed not from the sins of Jeroboam which made Israel to sin. So he went right back to the way --

Right. God raised him up to a high spiritual place --

What would cause somebody to do something like that?

Well, he was a carnal man, Celie [SP], --

Oh, he did not have --

-- and God raised him up to do a specific act to wipe Baal worship out of Israel. And this was what happened in the Old Testament all the time, that God raised you up in strength --

Right.

-- for a particular purpose, and then the anointing waned and your carnality manifested.

Oh, wow.

He was just a carnal man. That is the imputed anointing, and that is what --

Yeah.

-- the imparted anointing has over the imputed anointing, that damnation b- -- a rock builds under you so that when God’s specific purpose is finished, you are still standing on the rock. It is the major -- one of the major, if not the major, difference between the two anointings.

It seems almost like he made himself God, you know, doing all -- what a disgrace he did to God. After killing all those people, he went right back and did the same thing.

No, he did not do the same thing. He did not do Baal worship.

Well, no, he did not do that, but he did not follow the Lord with all his heart, which --

No, [UNINTELLIGIBLE] so it was just proven that he was just a natural man.

Yeah.

But Jehu did all that subtlety, you know, as an entrapment for the worshipers of Baal --

 Definitely, it was entrapment. Amen.

-- and that because he did it in that sense, he was in God’s will, you know, and it was for the good of the people, you know. And I did not see it as -- but I guess later on is where his fall came, right?

 Mm-hmm.

It was not at that time when he was doing his subtle thing?

No, no. If he was a carnal man doing a subtle thing, it would have been sin, but he was doing it under the anointing.

[AUDIO CUTS OUT]

The following is the exhortation from today’s message.

[AUDIO CUTS OUT]

It is not important if somebody hurt you. It is important if they are hurting you now, OK. If what they are doing to you now is hindering you from going on, well, that is important. You have to stop and deal with it because they are standing in your way; but as soon as they are out of your way, to hold onto that stuff is like putting your feet in cement and jumping into the river when you are trying to get up in the airplane. God will never honor it.

So Paul says there are those who oppose themselves, but I have good news for you, brethren. I believe that the living God has said that He is about to kill our carnal minds. I believe He is going to do it. I believe He is going to do it for every one of us, but the harder you fight Him, the harder He has to beat you to kill your carnal mind, so the only one that you are hurting is yourself in the long run. If you hurt me with your nonsense, it is used for my good because it is just one more thing that I have overcome, and as I overcome, my foundation builds under me. So I may have moments of distress, but the conflict is for my good. So you are the only one that you are hindering. It is yourself.

Let me show you how this foundation is built. This is the imparted anointing, remember. Now, we are up here, OK, and this is the rock down here. This is our foundation. Now, the imputed anointing is someone who has gifts and callings, and there is just air between him and the rock. There is just air down there, but God gave it to him anyway. But the imparted anointing, which is the result of overcoming experiences, every time you overcome you get another layer of rock.

If I am not mistaken, geol- -- is it geologists that study rocks? They see layers in rocks. When they crack the rock open and they examine it, there is [sic] layers in it, and for each generation, if I am not mistaken, both trees and rocks, another layer of rock goes on. So they can tell -- if they find a rock, they can tell how old that city was by the layers in the rock. See, every time you have an overcoming experience you get another layer of rock. You get another layer of rock. You get another layer of rock, and then one day your feet are standing on the rock. And when these gifts and this calling is taken away, you have all of the power and authority of Christ which is in the rock. You see, no one could take this away from you exc- -- outside of willful sin -- willful, deliberate, contrived sin, not being overcome.

This, you could lose at any moment, and there are thousands of Christians about to lose it because when the company of believers that have this anointing, that are grounded on the rock, when they appear we are told the gifts and the calling are going to pass away. And there is [sic] going to be thousands of believers that are -- tongues are going to pass away, and prophecy is going to pass away.

And they are going to have no choi- -- they are going to have two choices. They are going to go back into the world, or they are going to turn to this company of believers who are standing on the rock, and they are going to have to s- -- if they w- -- if they do not want to -- you know, if they do not want to pass out of the church, they are going to have to submit to these believers for teaching and for ministry, and their only choice -- they will no longer have a choice of the Holy Ghost and the gifts of the Spirit. Their only choice will be to come under this authority and start having the rock built up in them a layer at a time through trials and tribulations and overcoming experiences. Excuse me.

So that is what is coming on the Earth, brethren. This company of believers is going to stand up -- is that the full length of the cable?

[INAUDIBLE]

 OK.

[INAUDIBLE]

OK. This company of believers in full stature, they are going to appear very soon and the -- and these believers are going to have the authority that -- or anything greater authority than the apostles had. There is going to be judgment. There is going to be judgment. Now, we saw -- I am not -- I do not want to scare anybody, but the tr- -- you have to know the truth. Everybody is not going to make it, so do what you need to do to make it. Do not panic. Do not panic. Believe God. Have faith in God that if you cry out, you will make it.

You -- what I am telling you now, you can take this in a negative way or you could take this in a positive way. I forgive the sins of everybody here. I am anointed to forgive sins. It was in Rhonda’s [SP] dream. I forgive the sins of every person in this room. I give you my stamp of approval. My prayer for you is that God kills your carnal mind and takes you, and that prayer has a lot of power. So believe that you are going to make it and do everything that it is on your part to do. Believe it, that you have a leader who loves you enough to fight for you no matter what you have done.

I pronounce life upon every one of you no matter what you have done to me or anybody else. To the fullest degree that I have authority to bring you with me, with my dying breath I pronounce life upon you, every one of you. So be positive and do your part, and if you cannot confess your sins or you cannot repent, because it is possible to confess your sins and not repent, confessed you cannot repent and throw yourself on the mercy of God, because I declare unto you that He loves me enough -- He loves me enough -- to answer my prayers for you. And if you want to think that that is pride, well, do not believe it and do not get my blessing. Can you hear that? With my dying breath, I pronounce life on you.

OK. Sorry. So that is what is happening, ladies. It is very soon, in our lifetime at the least. So do not get entangled in the nonsense of this world. Forgive your brother and go on with God and do what is right, and if you have it within your power to help people, help them without strings. Do it that you might be found a good and faithful servant of your true Father, the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus. Hallelujah. Jesus. I thank You, Lord.

Since this is going back and forth [?we are operating on the?] [INAUDIBLE]

Well, the -- I was just waiting on him, so you are free to speak right now.

[?Julie had given me a?] [UNINTELLIGIBLE] visions [INAUDIBLE] and the Lord showed [?her?] the rocks and [INAUDIBLE] underneath the rocks --

 Oh, really?

-- [INAUDIBLE] she was so surprised by it she [UNINTELLIGIBLE] that she had always thought of trees and plants [UNINTELLIGIBLE] roots [UNINTELLIGIBLE]

Oh, praise God. Does everybody -- d- -- who is going to tell us what rops -- what rops! -- what rocks typify in the Scripture and what --

[INAUDIBLE]

 Well, more specifically, stones.

[UNINTELLIGIBLE]

Spirit. Stone and rock typify spirit, and, of course, the root of the rock -- spirit comes on two levels. In the unconscious, unseen realm is the Lord Jesus Christ, who is our Father; and in the area of conscious mind, spirit is in the form of -- anybody? In the -- in man. Mind.

[?Mind.?]

Mind. Mind, yes. In the dead soul -- in the soul that God created, which is dead, spirit is in the form of -- well, how do I say this, Lord? Our human spirit, which is the basis for the formation of mind in us, the human spirit is wrapped up in the soul. I am trying to say something, and it is not coming out. Let me just stand up. This is an important issue. It is a fine point. It is one of the technicalities. Let me see if I cannot impart an underst- -- a better understanding of it to you today. I think the Lord is telling me that it is really not clear to many of you.

I will draw the soul as a circle, brethren. Soul. Another name for soul is man or Adam. Just as an individual human being has a [sic] organic heart, the soul of man has something in it which can be likened to the organic heart in the body. It is called mind. Now, the mind is part of the soul. Just like my organic heart is part of my body, the mind is part of the soul. So if you talk about soul, that word includes the mind. If you talk about Sheila, you know that I have a heart. You know there is a heart in here. So when we talk about soul, that word includes mind. It goes without saying that this man would not exist if he did not have a mind.

The question is what kind of a mind does he have? And the mind which is within the soul is the spirit that is in man. The mind is that part of the soul which contains the spirit. [?In fact,?] if I lose anybody -- interrupt me right on the spot here if I lose you, OK? Now, this mind has to be born into the soul. It is the result or the product of a union between what we call the spirit or the human spirit, which man has.

Now, listen, I know this is a contradiction. I am saying mind is spirit. OK, let me clarify it for you. Mind is the threefold spirit which is in man. You know how the heart has two sides to it and different ventricles? The spirit of man has three sides to it or three parts to it, and the mind is formed as a result of something called the human spirit, OK, that is in the soul before the mind develops. Think of a developing fetus, now, each organ developing one after the other until the fetus is complete.

So before this mind is formed in the soul, the soul has something called a human spirit. She is nothing by herself. She is the female reproductive organ of the soul. She is likened to a human woman’s ovum. She is likened to an egg. She is nothing by herself. Until she joins with a male seed and produces the mind, she is nothing. So the soul before -- be -- as it -- at the very, very beginnings of its development has a human spirit, and when that human spirit joins with a male seed, it produces the mind of the soul. It produces the mind of the soul.

So we are really saying that the mind is the spirit that is in man, and I say that because it is impossible to be a man with a human spirit that has not been formed into a mind. Can you hear that? It is impossible to be a human being who exists whose human spirit has not evolved into a mind. Is everybody OK? OK, it is like saying anyone of you ladies, I could surgically remove one of your ovum, but that ovum cannot a human being until it is fertilized and develops.

So there really is no human being in existence who has just a human spirit. That human spirit must be joined to a male seed and have brought forth an offspring of that union, which is mind, for anyone to be walking around and talking to you and existing. So, therefore, technically speaking, the mind is the threefold spirit of man, and this concept of human spirit, it is almost like a technicality. Does that -- is everybody following me? It is what you start with, but it is nothing until it matures into what it is supposed to be. Everybody OK?

OK, so the mind is part of the soul. So when you talk about soul, that word includes the mind. When you talk about me, you know I have an organic heart. When I talk about soul, you know that somewhere in that soul is a mind, and the mind is the -- now, soul is a -- soul is soul. And we know that soul is opposite of spirit, but there is a manifestation of spirit that is literally a part of, joined with, one with the soul. And that aspect of spirit which is joined with the soul and is one with the soul, just like my organic heart is one with me, is the spirit which is in the soul, mind.

So we say that mind, therefore, is an expression of spirit or is spirit being expressed through soul. Spirit expressing itself through or in a soul is called mind. Let me say it again. Spirit expressing itself in or through a soul is called mind. Another way to say it is spirit which is not being expressed in a soul is called spirit. It is called male. I had another one. I just lost it. It is called spirit. It is called male seed. It is called father. Thank you, Lord. It is called father.

Spirit expressing itself in soul is called mind. It is called -- well, it is male because it acts like spirit. It is called son. It is called son. Spirit not being expressed through a soul man is called father, and spirit being expressed through the mind of a man is called son. Jesus said, “I am the Son of God.” He said, “But My Father is greater than I.”

Spirit that abides of its own strength and its own maturity exists in a realm which we call the realm of the spirit. We can call it the unconscious mind of man. Mind is consciousness. The spirit of man is conscious, and that aspect of spirit, or father, abides in the unconscious realm, and everything the father tells the son to do, he does; and everything the father speaks, the son rep- -- in the hidden realm of the spirit, the son repeats in this world of men, and this is true of whoever your father is.

So if your father is the Lord Jesus Christ and He is speaking through you, you are speaking the words of the Son of God. If your father is Satan, brethren, you are speaking through your carnal mind, the son of Satan. Jesus said to the Pharisees, “Your father is the devil.” We got to start facing up to this, brethren. Now, if the engrafted word -- if the word -- seed of God is engrafted to you, you have two fathers for a season, and they are at war for dominion over your mind and over your life.

Therefore, because Christ has been conceived in you, according to Romans -- I believe it is chapter 7. I might have my chapter mixed up, 6 or 7 or 8. Maybe it is 8. Because the Son of God has been conceived in you, even though you speak the words of your father the devil, no matter how given over you are to him, because there is a new mind you that at least potentially has the power to destroy your carnal mind, therefore, there is now no more condemnation in those who are in Christ Jesus.

But you better believe that if in fact you have received the engrafted word, and on any level whatsoever you have cried out to Jesus Christ to save you from your strong enemy, whether you have a revelation that your strong enemy is your own carnal mind or not, it does not matter, He has heard your prayer, and He is waging war against your strong enemy. And whether you have this revelation are not, He fully intends to answer your prayer and kill your carnal mind.

So, brethren, do not be surprised that the fiery trial has come upon you. Do not be surprised at the hard times, do not be surprised at the rebuke, do not be surprised at the pain because your carnal mind shall surely die that the Son of God shall be glorified in you. So do not push against the [?bricks?pricks?] because you are spinning your wheels and you are wasting your energy. You are wasting your time. Much better to be listening to a message because you prayed the prayer, and He heard it, and as far as He is concerned it is all over.

So the bottom line that I would like you to try to remember is that mind is a part of the soul as heart is a part of the human body, nevertheless mind functions as spirit. Mind functions as spirit, and mind is the husband of the soul. This is a family that is all stuck together. Soul is female. Mind is male. They are one. Did Paul not say this is a great mystery, but a man and his wife, they are one flesh? You are one flesh. So we have a husband and wife dwelling together as one in the soul realm, and if this mind which is in you has a father whose name is the Lord Jesus Christ, your female soul is becoming one with her father-in-law.

But I want to stick -- I wanted -- this is the point the Lord wants to make for you. Mind is a part of the soul as heart is a part of the human body; nevertheless, mind functions as spirit and marries or joins with the soul that he is a part of so that they are one flesh. So, you see, there is a spirit in man. There is a spirit in man, and we can say that another word for the spirit which is in man is mind.

Now, if the mind has been fathered -- if the mind that is in you is a carnal mind, the father that has fathered the mind is not the Spirit of God. If the father of the mind and the soul is not the Lord Jesus Christ, then the father of the mind is an aspect of this female soul which has risen up and behaved like a man and impregnated herself and brought forth a mind whose mother is the female soul and whose father is also the female soul.

Therefore, brethren, we cannot accurately say that the carnal mind is the spirit of man because this mind is not spirit. The father of this mind is soul. The father of this mind is soul; therefore -- if you look in the Scripture, Paul never really calls it the carnal mind. He says, “To be carnally minded is death.” God does not even call it a mind. He really does not. You look for it. He says that which is of the flesh is flesh. Technically speaking, it is really not a mind.

So if you do not have the mind of Christ, technically speaking, you are without a mind. And what -- you cannot live without a mind. That is why we are dead. We do not have a mind. We do not have a heart, and we do not have a mind. We have a blob of flesh that is trying to do the job and failing to the point of our death. Jesus. We have some kind of a perversion that looks like a mind, that acts like a mind, that walks like a mind, that talks like a mind, but it is not a mind. It is doing everything a mind does badly, but it is not really a mind. It is a liar. It is a fake. It is a shadow. It is not the real thing. You want to call it an angel of light? It is a lie. It is a shadow. You have got to get the real thing. Any questions about this? Yes, just please put it on the microphone for me.

Is it safe to say that it is trying to imitate the mind of Christ?

Yes, it is trying to be a mind. It is trying --

OK.

-- it is trying to be a mind, but it does not have the goods.

OK.

OK? Anybody else? OK. If there is nothing else -- you have something to say?

[INAUDIBLE] comment [CROSSTALK] --

 Yeah.

-- [INAUDIBLE] going back to that [INAUDIBLE] whatever she went into the presence of God she talked about having [INAUDIBLE] and a foul attitude and being angry and depressed. It seemed that every time that she was feeling that way and she had to battle [INAUDIBLE] and she did not have [INAUDIBLE] any comprehension that it was her [UNINTELLIGIBLE] battling [CROSSTALK] outside forces [UNINTELLIGIBLE] comprehend --

 Yeah.

-- but she talked -- actually [UNINTELLIGIBLE] --

 Well, I --

 [UNINTELLIGIBLE]

-- I believe that, you know. I believe that, and you have all heard my testimony of what I went through when God first brought me into these deep studies or the attacks that I went through as I was studying for these messages, and I thought it was witches cursing me. I thought it was coming from outside of me. Brethren, your enemy is inside of you. Now, someone else can come and stir your own enemy up, but if there is nothing in you, there is nothing anybody or any spirit can do to you. So the bottom line is your stress and your distress is your sin. It is the bottom line. Anything you are suffering in this world is because of your sin. I could not hurt you if you did not have sin, and that is the truth.

Jesus said, “The prince of this world cometh; he has nothing in Me.” They could not even have killed Him if He did not want them to. So, technically speaking, everything we get, we deserve. Everything I get, I deserve. So stop blaming the other guy and get yourself straight with God. Fix yourself. Pull the mote out of your own eye before you try and get the beam out of your brother’s eye. You are spinning your wheels. You can clean up every human being on the face of this Earth, and they will all go into full stature, and you will be down here in hell, if that is what you want for yourself.

So nobody else has anything to say? You have something to say?

[INAUDIBLE]

OK.

[INAUDIBLE] we talked about the seed and the father [UNINTELLIGIBLE] relationship is -- forms the mind, right, [CROSSTALK]. Could it be possible, like, that each of us have that seed of a father and that mind of the father, but that seed is dead, you know, from the beginning? Like, we have the seed [CROSSTALK] father --

Yeah.

-- and the mind is there from the father, but that is totally dead, and what has risen up is this carnal mind. Is that possible?

Well, this is the whole false doctrine that is circulating in the kingdom church right now, that we have everything that we need from birth, and it is a lie because if it was true, why would we need the Lord Jesus Christ? Why did He have to die and be raised from the dead? Why is He pouring out of His spirit on all flesh? What do you need Him for if you have everything you need?

See, that is the whole false doctrine in the church today. They are saying they are born with it. So if you believe that you are born with it, then your next problem is how to activate it in you. If you are born with it and it is dead, how do you activate it in you? And since there is no such instruction in the Scripture because it is not scriptural, OK, this false doctrine goes on to -- or Satan goes on or the carnal mind goes on to evolve its false doctrine.

[?It says,?] well, let us see now, since I do not need anything outside of myself, therefore, I cannot get any help from the Holy Ghost, how am I going to raise up this dead seed of the Father? They may not say it exactly like that. And they say, well, I will just believe Him. I will just think Him alive. And you are off out in left field with your false doctrine.

So what man has -- man is dead in this hour, and what man has is a dead female seed, and the living seed of the Father is in Christ. And that is why the man Jesus had to die, so He could be converted into a form by which He could pour out or rain Himself upon all of humanity. And His life, which is being rained upon all flesh in this hour, is the living seed that will join with our dead female seed and raise Christ from the dead.

You see, this is really interesting. I never thought of this before. It just popped into my mind, but as long as I am teaching this spiritual train of teaching, you will hear me saying that because we are soul people, we continuously think everything spiritual is outside of us. We think the devil is outside of us. We think the angels are outside of us. We admit the Holy Ghost is inside of us because we can be proud when we prophesy and speak in tongues, but, by and large, we think everything spiritual is outside of us, OK.

Well, how come we do not believe that the seed of the Father is outside of us? We have got it backwards. This false doctrine says, well, the seed of the Father is inside of us, but everything else is outside of us. Can you see it? It is just a total reversal. The carnal mind just reverses everything. Good is evil; evil is good. Positive is negative; negative is positive. So your carnal mind just spoke. I rebuke you.

[?Amen.?]

I rebuke everybody’s carnal mind in this room. Hallelujah. May you die quickly a swift death.

[INAUDIBLE]

 Amen.
