I just want to review a couple of things that God has been showing us over these last few weeks, and that is, when we produce children that the Scripture teaches that, not only our physical substance is deposited into our children. We had deep teaching on that, extensive teaching on that, so that when we produce children, they take something from us, and they are reproductions of us. Not exact reproductions of us, but in concept, they carry the seed, the genetic seed, to reproduce what we are, both physically, spiritually, and in the soul realm.
The Lord had me touch on something last week. I do not know if you remember it, but I will just repeat it. That is that, as the curses go from generation to generation and that we know in the Scriptures that someone can sin, and that the judgment for the sin can fall upon their children. The Lord revealed to us, that a possible answer, for people praying for a lifetime for salvation, or the baptism with the Holy Spirit, and them not receiving it, is that, in God's wisdom, for whatever His purpose, He may have decided to answer that prayer, by giving the blessing to this person's offspring.
Someone in the congregation told me that I did not give the whole revelation, and it might have been depressing the people to think that they could pray for something for a whole lifetime and not get it. I could just tell you what the Lord told me to tell you last week. We should try to look on the positive side of it, which is, when we are dealing with these people that have been praying, and praying, and praying and they do not receive it. It is better to believe that your offspring is going to get it, than that God just does not hear you.
There is more to the revelation, and God just did not give it to me on Wednesday. To be honest with you, I am surprised that He gave it to me today. Basically, this is what He is saying to us. We are a person and we have offspring, we have five children, and our five children have at least part of our spirit, our soul, and our physical genetics, and we have been having a lot of questions in this ministry about what happens to the soul and the spirit when the body dies. We know that if your soul is completely joined to your spirit, your soul goes with your spirit, and what happens to your soul if it is not completely joined?
We have put a lot of questions before the Lord, and people have even asked me, where do you go after your body dies? Has that question been asked here? I think it has, exactly where do you go? I had to tell you that I did not know and that, to the best of my knowledge, your spirit went to the Father and your soul, if it was not saved, went back to the dust, and if it was partially saved, I did not know where it went. Well, this is what the Lord has been revealing at this time. This man, he has a spirit, and he is attached to each and every one of these children. He has a tie to each and every one of these children because they have the same spirit. When this man dies, his spirit, like a big rubber band, just goes into his children, because if his spirit is attached to all of these children, and he flies away to the heavenlies, how could that be? His spirit is in his children. Am I making any sense to you at all?
His spirit is in his children, the spirit that was in him, it is in all of his children, and they are joined by a spiritual tie. When this man dies, the children get everything. When this man dies, the spirit that is in him, it just goes right into his kids, the remainder of the spirit that is already in them just goes into his kids. It is there already, and how many times have we heard of circumstances where children are fighting, being like their parents, they just do not want to be like their parents. They hate everything that their parents represent, their parents die, and they become just like them.
Did you see that movie "The Godfather"? The brightest son out of all of the children, he was not going to be a criminal. He was going to college, and he was going to be a lawyer, and he was not going to have anything to do with this lifestyle. Because of spiritual forces greater than him, he wound up being the head of the whole mafioso family. He could not break the spiritual forces, the tie was too strong. We have this expression in the Scripture, "And he was ready to die, and he was gathered to his people." It is expressed two ways, he was gathered to his fathers, okay. Now, the word, "fathers," means, "original ancestor." He was gathered to his people, that is easy, he was gathered to the people that were still in the earth that had his spirit, because they are all attached anyway. When his body dies, they just got what was in him.
It is like, if we are all sitting at a table eating a turkey, and I say, "I do not want anymore," and someone says to me, "Can I finish it," and I say, "Yes, take it, I do not want it anymore." We have all partaken of the same turkey. God had told us, and this is a radical teaching, that the spirit does not go flying away to the spiritual realm of God. It is gathered to the fathers, which is the original ancestor.
What I am going to suggest to you is that God, thousands of years ago, decided that He was going to appear in the realm of appearance, and that there is only one man, there is only one man. It is the Son of God. At the first, He was the natural man and, at the end, He is a life giving spirit, but there is just one man. God sent His spiritual son into the earth and He is many members. He is obtaining for Himself a soul and a body that, right now, is fragmented and in many pieces, but, eventually, there is going to be just one man in the earth, and His name is Christ Jesus, and He is going to be in many members, one spirit in many members. Amen?
Well, this is what I am going to suggest to you. Somewhere, at the beginning of time, God has raised up His son and the many members in His son. This is a spiritual entity called the mind. He said, "I am going to make you into my New Creation Man, with a soul and a body. Go forth." They took on the form of a human being. This spiritual entity, this spiritual substance of the mind, that God created in the Garden took on the flesh and became a man. This man had children and he died. This man died. We all know that Adam died, just short of a thousand years, and the spiritual substance that was within him, is now in his children. Then these children had children. Well, we know that Cain's line was wiped out. We know that God wiped out Cain's line, but this line continued and then, of course, there was Seth. I am not going to get technical here because I am just trying to demonstrate a spiritual principle to you.
Now, when this one died, all the spiritual substance was spread out over here, and then each of these children had children, and we are seeing members all over the earth. What we have here is the same spiritual substance of the original creation in the Garden of Eden, one man, in many members. One spiritual man in many members living a lifetime mounting to thousands of years. Every time his flesh wore out, he just moved on and took on a new garment, and the way he did that was he produced the new garment before his flesh wore out. By producing children, he spiritually prepared for himself, (now this is a spiritual entity we are talking about,) and by producing children, he made a way for himself to stay in the realm of appearance when this flesh body died, because the whole realm of appearance is under the curse of death.
The body dies and the soul dies, but this spiritual man, God has purposed, will stay in the earth until he is completely formed. This spiritual entity just keeps on going, just keeps on going. This one dies, these guys die over here, and they have...it is the same spiritual life, living in these children over here. What they are doing, actually, is they are getting new bodies, and they are getting new personalities. Because we know that the personality is not resurrected, but it is the same spiritual being in many parts. Jesus Christ, and the forty second generation, and the sons that God gave him, the many members that you see when you look out on the face of the earth today. That is all there is, that is all that there is.
What I am saying to you is that God has told me to tell you that when a man dies, when his body dies, whether he be saved or whether he not be saved, his substance just continues, and it is bounced into his latest offspring. That is why in the Scriptures, we have people in the days of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, saying, that Abraham was their father. They had that revelation, Abraham was their father. There must have been a hundred generations in between, but he was their father. They do not even count these people. He was their original ancestor, and His spiritual substance is in them. The spirit stays in the earth.
COMMENT: When you say the spiritual substance, do you mean the spirit, the human spirit?
COMMENT: Then how can we say that it goes back to God when we die? Oh, you are saying that it does not?
SHEILA: No, the Scripture says that we are gathered unto our fathers, okay? Whenever I heard that Scripture, I thought that it meant, our Father in heaven, but it does not mean that. If you look it up in the Strong's, it does not mean, Father, God Jehovah. It means original ancestor, which was the creation that God made in the Garden of Eden. What it means is that if there is a spirit in this man and this body dies, it is gathered together, it joins the rest of that spirit, which happens to be in the living person that is over here, okay? There is a spirit in this man, he has produced offspring, this offspring is over here and his body dies, his body dies. Well, it is the same spirit that is in him that is over here. It is like a rubber band, it just bounces back, and he gets the whole thing, this guy down here gets the whole thing. Then he produces children, preparing his next vessel for this spiritual life.
I want to just take a few minutes, to talk about a spiritual lifetime. I think I did just touch on this before, a spiritual lifetime, we are...I think I did touch on it lightly. If you remember, we have many aspects to our lives. We are a baby, we are a school age child, we are a young married person, we are mothers and fathers, we are parents, and we are grandparents. Sometimes, we have a career also, we are a professional person, and we have many lifetimes. I look back at my lifetime, and I keep saying, I have died many times in this lifetime. I have had lifestyles that consumed my entire life, and there is just not a vestige of them anywhere, I cannot see them, they do not exist. For all intents and purposes, I have had in this one lifetime, maybe ten lives, but because my body has not changed, you all know me as Sheila, because my body has not changed, but my life and my personality has totally changed. I mean, there are people that I knew twenty years ago, if they saw me preaching, they would laugh their heads off. I was totally a different person, but my name is the same, and my body is the same.
Well, what I am suggesting to you, brethren, is that God has set it up, He has set up something called a spiritual lifetime, and He has a spiritual entity, right over here. His name is the Son of God. He came out into the realm of appearance, and He is having many lifetimes, only His body changes and His personality changes. The Son of God is having one spiritual lifetime in different segments. The first segment was Adam and He keeps on, because the human body and the human soul dies because of sin, He keeps producing new vessels to maintain his spiritual life, but it is one spiritual being, and He has not left the earth since He first entered into it. Do you know what I am talking about? Are you with me? Glory to God, okay.
I have some Scriptures for you, and then maybe we will talk about it a little more after the message. The name of the message is, "Thy Neighbor's Landmark." We are starting in Deuteronomy 19:14. Hallelujah. I just want to repeat to you, I know this is really a difficult concept, that our substance is a spiritual being who is obtaining for himself a soul and a body, and if we are one with our spiritual substance, we think like he thinks. God has set it up for a season that we, His flesh, has the ability to think apart from our spiritual life. Am I confusing you? You looked confused, you look confused.
There is a spiritual man out here, he is taking on the flesh in a series of bodies and personalities. He is male. His flesh, whether it has the sexual organs of the male or female, it does not matter, his flesh is female, and man has a mind of his own. That mind is at enmity with God. This spiritual being that has no form or substance is inside of mankind. He wants to rule him, he wants to be his mind, and he wants to be his thoughts, but this entity called his flesh that he is trying to live inside of has a mind of his own. His mind is in direct contradiction to the mind of the Son of God. Hallelujah. At the end of this process, we are going to be a man which will be the flesh, which we are, and Christ...and we are going to be in there together living in peace. Right now, the flesh has a mind of its own, and the name is Satan. He is saying to Christ, "You are not going to live inside of me and rule me, I am going to go my own way," but ultimately, Christ is going to be married to the flesh of man. Our substance is spirit, what we are is spirit. Glory to God, I hope I made that clear. Glory to God. Let me try with this message and maybe we will go back to that.
This is really tough because what I am saying to you is that we are really nothing. That is what I am saying to you, we are really nothing. What we are is the spirit that rules in us. This is a really hard word, but that is what the Scriptures are teaching, we are nothing, we are the flesh of the Spirit known as the Lord Jesus Christ. We have trouble in our life because we are in rebellion against Him, and He is not ruling completely in our life. Glory to God.
Deuteronomy.19:14, "Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark, which they of old time have set in thy inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it." The Hebrew word translated, "remove," means "to retreat, draw back, or depart," and the word, "landmark" means, "boundary, a limit of a field, the space included within certain borders, the cord, by which the limit is measured, and especially a twisted cord." It is from a root that means "to twist, as a rope for the purpose of being a border or boundary line."
I am suggesting to you that this form over here is the border, or the boundary line or this formless entity called the Son of God, He has no shape or form. He is like the air in this room, you cannot see Him, you cannot see Him. He gets inside of a form, or a boundary line or a border and you could see him, you could see what He looks like. I am suggesting, and the fact that it is twisted and it is woven, (we have touched on this,) I really do not know how to draw it, but I am suggesting to you, that it is my understanding of the Scripture that our spirit, soul, and body are in here twisted together. We are woven together, and we know that we have been talking about Jesus weaving a garment, and we are the garment. We are all in here twisted together, He is inside of us, and He intends to rule us one way or the other.
Webster's says that a landmark is a conspicuous objection land that marks a locality, and it is also an anatomical structure used to locate other structures. In other words, if God is invisible and you cannot see Him, and you do not know where to find Him, but you have a revelation that, that sister or brother so and so is a person of God, and that if you get to see them, there is a good possibility the Lord will manifest. That is a landmark. This person is a landmark, you know where to find God. Let us say, you do not know that God is inside of you, maybe you cannot hear from Him, maybe He is not inside of you yet. You see, this person and this person has a name, and you know that you can find God over there. She is a landmark, she is a landmark that is saying to you, "The Spirit of God is here, or is likely to be here." Glory to God.
It is a landmark that is obvious to the eye and to the mind. It attracts attention, it is noticeable, and it creates a situation where you are unable to not notice it. You have to notice it, you have to see God when He manifests in a man, both with your natural eye and with your spiritual eye. It also means, "structure, the arrangement of particles or parts in a substance or body," it is used of molecular structure, and it is used of plants. What we are saying is that this thing that we call a body and a soul, that we could look at and we could see it, and we see it and we could say, "This is a sister, Ann, and I know that she is a woman of God. I am going to come down to see her, and I know that she is just a man, but I know that God is there. I cannot see Him, He is a Spirit, I cannot see him, but I know, because God has witnessed it to me, that He is inside this landmark, sister, Ann. I can find God if I go there." Glory to God.
We are told that this landmark is an arrangement of all of the parts, all of the parts, the Son of God and all of his members and the soul and the body. We are in a particular arrangement. There is a head, there are two hands, and there are two legs. We do not have our legs up here and our feet down there. God made it in a specific way. The legs are on the bottom, the arms are on the top, the eyes are where they are, we are in a particularly set orderly arrangement. Well, our spiritual substance in the same way is in a set orderly arrangement, and that is a continued definition of the word, "landmark." When you see someone walking down the street, if you see a dog walking down the street, you are not particularly going to be looking for the Son of God in a dog, because you know that the Lord is not in this arrangement. He is in a human being.
We have monkeys, we have all kinds of animals. I know that God spoke through a donkey, but you do not look for a donkey when you are looking for God. You know that if you are looking for him, He is most likely to be in someone that looks like this. The landmark, in the realm of appearance, is the human body, and we also have landmarks in the realm of the soul. We have landmarks in the realm of the soul, which is the realm of the mind, okay? There are certain ways that we can discern that God is manifesting when He speaks through a man. It is harder that way, okay, but the landmark is in the realm of appearance, in the body, and it is also in the realm of the soul, and it is a big beacon light saying, "You can find God here, okay, God is over here." Are you looking for him? God is here, right here, right here, right in there with Satan. This is sister, Ann, but Christ is in there also. God, you want to see him? He is right over there.
We have a lot of problems in this world, we have this mind of Satan manifesting as anti-Christ saying, "It is not true," but, you see, that does not matter. God says, "I have set up a landmark. You want to see me, here I am, and I have supernatural signs and wonders and miracles and wisdom, you are going to be healed, you are going to be set free. I am going to change your mind and give you right thinking, and if you cannot see it, it is because Satan is stopping you," but that does not change the fact, that God has provided sister, Ann, and you can recognize her, you can recognize her. You know that she is not a donkey. She is a human being, and she has signs and wonders following her and the word of God and the wisdom in her mouth. Those are the landmarks that you look for when you are looking for God. You look for a human being, you look for the wisdom and the word of God and signs and wonders, and you look for the agape love of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah.
I just remind you that one of the words for world is cosmos, which means, "an orderly arrangement or decoration." I have touched on this before, and I am suggesting to you that our body and our soul is set in as a specific order, as our body is. You do not expect to have one leg over here and one arm over here. You expect two arms where your arms are and two legs where your legs are. Although I cannot tell you what it looks like, I suggest to you that our souls are as specifically in order as our body is. It is set up in a certain specific way, and that is the landmark that we know, that when you see a body, and you see a soul, there is a good chance that there is a spirit inside of it, and you cannot see the spirit. You cannot see the spirit. Hallelujah.
I have a little more on that. Webster's says that a landmark is a decoration or an ornament and that means, "the adding of color or design to something, which stresses or sets off the original." See, this was the original, you cannot see it, so God added something to it to set it off, to stress it, to make it obvious to you, a soul and a body, but the life force is this spirit. That is all there is, there is just Him. Glory to God. The word, "neighbor," I am going to read that verse to you again, because I had a lot to say on that. This is Deuteronomy 19:14, "Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land, that the Lord thy God giveth thee to possess it." The word, "neighbor," means, "a close associate, it means to guard, to care for, to rule," and it is really much more than we would think of as a neighbor. It means, "to join yourself to as a companion." It is used to describe a lover, and one who is beloved of a woman, a male lover.
Jeremiah 3:1 says, and this is the Lord speaking, "If a man put away his wife and she go from him and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? Shall not that land be greatly polluted, but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers, yet return again to me saith the Lord." That word, "lovers," is the same word translated, "neighbor," so it is a much stronger word than neighbor. I would also like to point out to you that God is saying, "When a woman commits adultery, the land that is polluted is her soul." If a man put away his wife, and she go from him and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? Shall not that land be greatly polluted?" He is talking about the land of the woman. Jeremiah 3:20, also says, "Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the Lord." That word, "husband," is the same word translated, "neighbor." It is much more than neighbor.
I have an Alternate Translation for the first half of Deuteronomy 19:14. "Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark. You shall not indulge in behavior, that will result in your lovers body and soul dying." We know that what causes our soul and our body to die is sin. That is what this is saying, "You shall not indulge in spiritual fornication that will result in your lover's body and soul dying." Now who is your lover? It is the spirit that is married to your body and soul. It is either God or Satan. You have to have a husband, it is either God or Satan. Glory to God.
"Which they of old time have set in thy inheritance, which thou shalt inherit, in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee, to possess." The word, "old," means, "concealed or hidden," and it refers to the beginning or the end of something which is uncertain and indefinite. Even of time, before the creation of the world, it is talking about an indefinite period of time, that the beginning and the end of it, cannot really be seen. It signifies all the days of the life, such as a perpetual slave who is not to be discharged as long as he lives. This word, "old," refers to all of the days of a lifetime. When this Scripture says here, "Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark, which they of old time, have set in thy inheritance," Glory to God, it is talking about the spiritual life, that goes all the way back to the beginning of time. It refers to a whole race of people, and it comprehends all the time until their destruction.
We are talking about a race of people that started back here in the Garden of Eden, and that race is still multiplying. It is called the human race, and it is one people, and it is one spiritual lifetime encompassing the entire people. In I Samuel 2:30 it says, "Thy family shall serve me while it shall continue." In those days, if you were a slave, all of your children were the slave. By the time you got down here, ten generations later, your offspring was still slaves to the offspring of the master. Spiritual lifetime of this family was enslaved to the master, not only the man, but his entire spiritual lifetime. Because what we are suggesting here is that you have one man and that it is his spiritual substance that is passing on to generation to generation. If you have a slave over here, this man is a slave.
This is a spiritual principle that existed in the natural, at some time in the past. If you have a man, he is a slave, and he has a child, when this body wears out, the owner still has a slave, he still has a slave. Then this slave has a child and this body wears out, well, the owner still has a slave, right here. Then this guy has a child, and this guy dies out. Well, this guy is really making money on this slave, he has not lost anything. The spiritual principle behind this, brethren, is that the Son of God wants to be seen in the realm of appearance. He has no form or shape, and He has taken himself a slave, a human body.
You look up the word, "Body," in the Scripture and it means, slave. The body is a slave to the spiritual being that rules it. He has taken himself a slave. This is the spirit, spiritual being, and this slave is reproducing, and when this body dies out, this spiritual entity still has a body to live in. Then this one has a child, and when this body wears out, this same spiritual entity is now in this one. It is a spiritual lifetime, this spirit man that has no form or shape, keeps on taking our new bodies and new personalities. It is the same spirit man. He is having a spiritual lifetime, the same spirit, the same husband, the same ruling power in a different body and a different personality, but it is the same person, it is the same person. Glory to God. Hallelujah.
The word, "set," means...well, let me read the Scripture again, so we can stay up on this. "Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark which they of old time have set in thy inheritance." The word, "set," means, "to twist together as a rope, and the line by which boundaries were measured." It means, to twist together and it also means "that which is twisted, which is the rope," and this was used to measure boundaries. Glory to God. The word, "in" is applied to things that are not apparent in the senses. It refers to a person's nature, the soul, the thought of anyone, it refers to that which lies hidden in the bosom of God until it can come forth into full view.
The word, "inheritance," means, "occupancy, an estate or a portion." I am suggesting to you that this body, and this body that we have and this soul that we have, it is the place that we occupy, and it is our estate. We are going to read an Alternate Translation here, the original first. "Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark which they of old time have set in thy inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the Lord thy God giveth to thee to possess it; Which they who were from the beginning of time have woven together with the strength of a rope and is now your body and soul, and which you shall inherit in the land that the Lord gives you to possess." "Which they who were from old have woven together with the strength of a rope."
This spiritual entity who were there from old, they have made their self a body, and they have woven it together. It is a piece of fabric that is made to cover the spirit man, they have woven it together. They, who were of the beginning of time, the spiritual beings, have woven together, with the strength of a rope, and it is now your body, it is now your body, and your soul which you shall inherit in the land which the Lord gives you to possess it. You have a child over here, and it is this spiritual substance, it is going from personality to personality. Not only does this guy over here get the same spirit as the original father, but he gets a contribution of this man's soul, a little piece of it, goes on there too. Now, he is a combination of the spirit man and the personality. Are you not like your parents? Do you not carry their thoughts and their ideas with you? Sometimes, even though you hate it, they are an influence on your life.
Then this guy has a child, he gets the same spirit from this guy back here. He has a little piece of this guy's soul, and he has a little piece of this guy's soul. Did you ever hear of the expression, "We are the sum total of our experiences in life." Did you ever hear of that? Even as a body, we are the sum total of all of our organs. We are many pieces physically. We have many organs in our body, and those put together make us what we are. We have parents, grandparents, great grandparents, great, great grandparents, and everything that they were has added up to what we are. Because if this is our mother over here, this is our mother and she had experience "x" in her life, and then, let us say it is our great grandmother, then she had our grandmother. Her experiencing "x" is going to affect her.
Let us say, she was hungry, let us say she did not have enough food, she was poor. It has to affect this child, it has to affect this child, I know it has. I has to affect this child. Now, this child becomes a person in her own right, and she experiences...there is hunger, they have enough food, but she finds her mother has great difficulty in giving because she was hungry, so she is hoarding everything. She is hoarding everything because she knows what it is like to not have food. Now, I am sure you know about that. You have seen movies about that. People that have intense experiences of not having enough food or not having a home to live in, even when their need is met they carry the need with them.
This child over here, she is the child of a hoarding mother, and she grows up feeling unloved. This woman over her did not feel unloved, she was just hungry. This one grows up feeling unloved because her mother has emotional problems that resulted in her being unable to love her daughter. Then, this one has a child over here, and this is accumulating from the ancestor that was hungry to the ancestor that was unloved. Now, maybe this child is neglected, maybe she is a neglected child, and then she has a child, and this child becomes a drug addict. How did she get to be a drug addict? Because her spiritual and soul substance is coming from all the way back here. This child over here that is a drug addict is not without influence from this ancestor back over here. It is the same family line, it is the same spiritual substance, it just keeps going down the line.
What I am saying here is that we have a spiritual man, everyone of us, has a spiritual husband, either it is Satan or it is Christ. You cannot exist without a spiritual husband, because he is our mind. He is our mind. I am sorry, brethren, if this offends you, but you are not your own man. I do not care how great you are, I do not care how great a sportsman you are, I do not care how intelligent you are, I do not care how great a lawyer you are, I do not care how well you do anything, you are not your own man. Your husband, the spiritual life that is within you is living his life out within you. That is rough, but it is the truth.
This is what we are saying, we start off as a spiritual life without form or shape, and that spiritual life takes on the flesh, and by the time we get down here to the tenth generation, let us say, we have a human being that is the product, the sum total of every human being that has existed down this line. They are not without influence from any one of these people. They have picked up the original spirit man, and they have picked up a piece of the soul, from every single one of their ancestors, and that this person is the sum total of every one on their family line, back to their original ancestor or starting with their ancestor. What I suggest to you...I am going to read for you again. What this Scripture is saying about the landmark is that this person is this person, and that this is a spiritual lifetime. As I had a segment of my life as a child, I had a segment of my life that I was desperately ill. Thank God that is over. I was a patient and a victim, I had a segment of my life that I was a wife and a mother, I had a segment of my life, that I was a student. I am not any of those things anymore, but they all made me what I am today. They made me what I am today, but I am still in the same body with the same name.
I am telling you that there is a spiritual lifetime where the body changes so that you cannot recognized the person, but it is the same spiritual being. His body changes, and his soul changes, personality changes, but it is the same spiritual being. That this guy down here is the sum total of all of the experiences that this spirit man has had, all the way along the line. We will go over it again, I want to read this Alternate Translation for you again and point out one or two things, "Which they, who are from the beginning of time, (that is the spiritual man), have woven together with the strength of a rope, and is now your body and your soul." What they did at the beginning, what they originally wove together, it is now your body and your soul, because it is the same substance going down the line. You got your genes from your parents, you got your physical genes, you got your soul genes, you are basically the same person as this guy down here. That is what it says right here. "Which they, who are from the beginning of time, have woven together with the strength of a rope and is now your body."
"What they made at the beginning of time is now your body. "And which you shall (future), inherit in the land, that the Lord gives you, to possess." Well, if it is your body now, how can you inherit it in the future? If it is your body now, how can you inherit this in the future? How can you inherit it in the future, if it is your body now? Because you are one with the spirit man, and you are changing with him. This is you, this is you now, and you are the sum total of all of the eleven generations before you starting with the spiritual man, and you have inherited the physical and the soul substance that make you what you are today. The Scripture says that you shall inherit the land. It says, "You have it now, and you shall inherit it," because when the next generation comes down the line, they are going to get something from you too. The Scripture is saying, it is a Scriptural principle that this is all one man. If it is you here, it is going to be you there. Glory to God, we will stay with it. Glory to God.
Let me read you this whole Alternate Translation - "You shall not indulge in behavior that will result in your lover's body and soul dying, the spiritual source that is your true substance, you shall not indulge in spiritual fornication, that will result in your body and soul dying, which they who are from the beginning of time, the spiritual beings that are within us, have woven together with the strength of a rope, and it is now a part of your body and your soul. What they made all the way back here, that substance, it is a part of your body and your soul, and which you shall inherit in the land the Lord gives you to possess."
When God finishes building this body and this soul and He glorifies it, and He makes it incorruptible, you are going to inherit it, and it is going to be you in there. It is your spiritual substance going along this line.
COMMENT: Do you mean that in the end, there is only going to be one, you know, that all of these generations will end up as one?
SHEILA: Yes, one person, Christ Jesus, with many members.
COMMENT: There will be many members, all of these people that have died or?
SHEILA: What I am suggesting to you is that there will be many members, okay, but what I am suggesting to you is that the people from ten generations ago are not going to be resurrected. In other words, if we have...let us just take simple numbers. Let us say there are ten people in our generation. Well, let us start at the beginning. Everybody thinks that when Jesus comes, everyone is coming out of their graves, and we are going to have billions and billions and billions of people there. Well, what I am suggesting to you is that if we had...(this is the first generation,) and we had ten people living here, and this is the second generation, and we had twenty people living here, and this is the third generation, and we had thirty people living here, and now, this is the generation of perfection, okay? This hour, there are forty people alive on the face of the earth. When the resurrection of the dead comes, it is not going to be thirty, sixty, a hundred, it is not going to be a hundred people resurrected from the dead. These are the same people going from lifetime to lifetime, okay? Yes, that is what I mean. I have more Scriptures for you, and we will go over it as many times as we have to. Glory to God.
Proverbs 22:28, "Remove not the ancient landmarks which thy fathers have set. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Now the first Scripture we had was, "Remove not the ancient landmarks which they of old time have set." Now, in this Proverb it says, "Remove not the ancient landmarks which thy fathers have set." The word "father," means, "chief founder." It is not referring necessarily to Jehovah, chief founder, first ancestor, the author or maker of anything. Hebrews 12:2 says, "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith." Our chief ancestor is Adam, and Adam, we are told, is the son of God. Glory to God. "Remove not the ancient landmarks, the ancient bodies and souls that were set up, when our first ancestor took on the flesh. It is the same body and soul in a new form. Hallelujah. It is the same thing. Glory to God, Hallelujah.
The word, "set," this is a different word, "set," than in the other Scripture. I should give you the numbers, the first word, "set," that we studied, which was for the Scripture, Deuteronomy 19:14. The word, "set," in that Scripture is #1379, and it means, "to twist as a rope." Now, we are in Proverbs 22:25, "Remove not the ancient landmarks which thy fathers have set," and this word, "set" is Strong's #6213 and it means,"to labor or work at anything," used of God, as He made his creation, and this word, is used all through Genesis. It means, "to make of oneself," and it is an expression used of living creatures. For example, cows make milk of themselves. Trees produce fruit of themselves, from their own substance, and it is used in Job 15:27 of a man growing fat on himself. That is how it is used.
I do not have the exact...I do not have the quote of the Scripture for you, but it is this word, and it is used to describe a man eating so that He puts fat on himself, a man building layers of flesh upon himself. In Proverbs 22:28, I have an alternate translation for you. The original translation is, "Remove not the ancient landmarks which thy fathers have set." Alternate Translation - "Do not indulge in behavior which is spiritual fornication that will destroy your bodies and souls, which your first ancestors labored to produce out of their own substance." We know that the Son of God was propelled into the earth, and He gave life to the earth, and the first man was made as a result of His sacrifice for us. Out of His own spiritual substance our bodies and souls exist. We went through nine tapes on this, that there would be no life of any shape or form, no mankind, if the Son of God did not give life to the earth, because there is no life in the earth. Hallelujah. "Don't indulge in behavior that will destroy your bodies and souls which your first ancestors labored to produce out of their own substance." Glory to God.
Hebrews 11:13, 16, "These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off and were persuaded of them and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims in the earth." What is the promise? The promise is incorruption, eternal life. Verse 16, "But now they desire a better country that is a heavenly, wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He hath prepared for them a city." That is our incorruptible body and soul. All of these people that died in faith, they believed the promises, but they did not attain to incorruption. Now, I am just going to randomly pick a few Scriptures between Verses 17 and 38 just to keep the thought going. "By faith Abraham when He was tried offered up Isaac, and He that hath received the promises offered up his only begotten son." Abraham made an incredible sacrifice, He offered up his own son and He did not receive incorruption, He died, his body died. Glory to God.
Verse 22, "By faith Joseph when He died made mention of the departing of the children of Israel, and gave commandment concerning his bones." We all know what Joseph went through for the glory of God. He was accused falsely, he was sold out by his brothers, he was put in prison, he paid the price of a martyr and he died, he did not receive incorruption. Verse 27, "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is invisible." I guess we are talking about Moses here. By faith, he forsook Egypt, all of the riches of Egypt. He was the Pharaoh's daughter's son. "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king, for he endured as seeing who was invisible." He saw God and he wanted the promise of God, and he gave up everything and he died. Where is the promise, why did not these people receive the promise?
Verse 30, "By faith, the walls of Jericho fell down after they were compassed about, seven days. What about all the saints that saw that mighty miracle? They believed God, they died. Verse 32. "And what shall I more say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Sampson and Jephthae, and of David also, and of Samuel, and of the prophets." Verse 33. "Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouth of lions." Verse 34. "Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in flight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens." They died. Well, what do you have to do to get the promise? Verse 39. "And these all having obtained a good report through faith received not the promise." Verse 40. "God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect."
They should not be made perfect without us, brethren, do you hear it? Do you hear it, they should not be made perfect without us. Well, why do they have to wait for us, why do they have to wait for us? Because we are all one. That is why, they cannot be made perfect, they are waiting for us. It is the last generation that is going to be glorified? It is the last generation, but every one from down here is in us. They are in us. They passed. I see things like this in science fiction movies. You know, they come out of their body, and they have their substance in a little vial, and they waited for thousands of years, and then they tried to steal somebody's body, you know. All of this science fiction, it is just a counterfeit of this exciting, exciting, word of God. This spiritual substance in this man, the substance that was in his flesh, the substance that was in his soul, it is in this guy down here. Glory to God.
"God having provided some better thing for us, that they, without us should not be made perfect." Because God has ordained that we should be a part of this. They have to wait for us, because if they were perfected before us, we would not be here. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Job 24:2, and we are going to find out something, about removing these ancient landmarks, doing this behavior that causes bodies and souls to die. Job 24:2, "Some remove the landmarks, they violently take away flocks and feed thereof." Who is it that is doing this? The word, "sum," means, a mortal man, a mortal man, a carnal man. Glory to God. The word, "landmarks," in this Scripture is different than the other Scriptures, in that it is feminine. What I am suggesting to you this means, is that when a body and soul are married to the Lord, (now remember this whole Bible was written to Israel,) when a body and a soul are married to the Spirit of God, they are one with him and they are masculine. We have been talking about that here.
If you are speaking by the Spirit of God, it does not matter what your natural flesh is. If you are speaking by the Spirit of God you are male. Well, when your body and soul are attached to the Lord you are male, and in this Scripture, Job 24:2, the female version of the word, "landmark," is used because it is talking about the natural man. He is operating without the authority of God. As soon as you come out from under the authority of God, brethren, you are spiritually female. When you are one in mind and concept, and thought and behavior with the Lord God, you are male. The second you remove your thoughts from Him and become alienated from Him, you are female. In this Scripture, we are talking about natural men removing the landmarks and violently taking away flocks. The carnal man has come out from under the authority of the Lord and is performing behavior that he has been warned in the past two Scriptures, not to do, and God says you are female. As soon as you are not in agreement with God you are female.
The word, "there," is one Hebrew word translated, "violently take away", and it means, to "pluck away," but it also means, "to flay, to take one's skin off." We know that these bodies and these souls, they are the covering of the spirit man. When we involve ourselves in spiritual fornication, we are literally skinning the spirit man alive because it is just a matter of time, it could take generations, but it is just a matter of time until, without the intervention of Christ, until this line would come to an end, because the soul that sinneth, it must die. The only reason we are going to wind up over here with incorruption is that Christ is coming to save us, but if Christ was not coming to save us, the whole human race would be wiped out.
This word, "To violently take away," means, "to flay, to remove the flesh of the spiritual being," who we are. When we are one with Him, we are Him. When we separate ourselves from Him, we become Satan. Glory to God. The Hebrew word translated, "flocks,"' means, "a herd of animals, and it also means, an arrangement." We spoke about this earlier, we are talking about a spiritual body, being in a specific set pattern. If we are here in this ministry, if God has called you to this ministry, this is your place in the body of Christ, and if you leave and God has not told you to leave, you are out of order. Everybody has a specific place. A lot of people are out of order today, if not in one area in another area, but in the end of all things, everybody is going to be in order, spirit, soul, and body, and there is going to be one man in the earth, Christ Jesus, and peace will rule, Hallelujah. Glory to God, I cannot wait.
Job 24:2, "Some remove the landmarks, they violently take away flocks and feed thereof." I did not tell you, the Hebrew word translated, "feed," #7462 can be translated, "to have intercourse with." We are talking about spiritual intercourse. Alternate translation - "Carnal men destroy souls and bodies, they strip off their spiritual protective covering and have intercourse with them." What are we talking about here? We are talking about spiritual incest. We are talking about the same thing that we discussed in Tape #2, The Seduction of Eve. What had happened, God had created, had formed a creation, it was a partial creation, and He said to Adam, "There are fertile parts in this creation, and I have formed them, I have formed them." This was the living soul, and there were fertile parts in this creation right here that can be likened to a woman's ovaries, and God said to Adam, who was the whole of the living soul, He said, "Within you are fertile parts, spiritual fertile parts, do not let anybody touch them, because at the fullness of time, I, Jehovah God, am going to come and fertilize these fertile parts and I am going to produce Christ, do not let anyone touch her."
What happened? Adam looked upon it, upon his own self and he said, "That looks good, why should I look for God, I am going to reproduce, I am going to fertilize my own fertile parts." When Adam became alienated from God in his mind, when his thoughts separated from the thoughts of God... now, if he thought with the thoughts of God, he would have said, "I cannot fertilize my own fertile parts, I have to wait for Jehovah to produce the Christ." He became alienated from God in his mind and he said, "That looks good," at which point he fell, and his name was changed to Satan, went in there, fertilized the fertile parts of the living soul, and the human race is in the condition that it is in today. Hallelujah. Glory to God.
Carnal men destroy souls and bodies, they strip off their spiritual protective covering and have intercourse with them. We are talking about Israel here. She was not in this condition. God married Israel, He called her out of the world, and He gave her His law, and His Spirit, and He was her husband. This is Israel, and her protector was Jehovah. She still had fertile parts, but remember I said, "In the fullness of time, Jehovah was going to fertilize her and bring forth the Christ." It was not time yet, so Jehovah was her husband, but they had not had sex yet, or at least...I do not know about that. At least, He had not fertilized her yet. The provision to fertilize her had not been accomplished yet, that was the spirit of adoption that came forth with the New Covenant. They were married to Jehovah, okay, Israel was married to Jehovah, and they had fertile parts, they had the covering of Jehovah, the protection, the imputed anointing of Jehovah, and Satan was still back here, he was still in there. See, the creation was not joined yet, and he started pulsating thoughts down here. Want to do it? Want to do it? Want to worship other gods? Want to do what your own mind wants to do?
God says, "You shall not commit adultery." You want to commit adultery? God says, "You shall not steal." You want to steal? This is Eve over here, she got seduced, she said, "Yes, I am going to do it," and she did it. She stole, she committed adultery with her husband's wife, and what happened was, she started producing demons, she started producing fruit, she was the fertile parts. She was supposed to bring forth the Christ, but she could not wait for Jehovah, she could not wait, and demons started coming forth in her fertile parts, and what happened? Jehovah said, "I divorce you, you are a harlot, you are unclean." That is what happened to Israel. Carnal men destroy souls and bodies, they strip off their spiritual protective covering and have intercourse with their own minds. Hallelujah. They do that, by yielding to the lust and passions, which are a part of the natural man. Glory to God.
Deuteronomy 27:17, These are the consequences of not obeying the law of God, which says, "Remove not the ancient landmark." God could not have made it any clearer, but if you do it, this is what happens, "Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor's landmark." We just had this at a recent meeting. The word, "curse," refers to prayers coming from the soul realm. If you remove your neighbor's landmark, if you involve yourself in spiritual fornication that is going to cause the death of your lover's body and soul, you are going to be lowered to the soul realm. Now, when Israel was married the Lord, before He divorced her, you see, she was still in a vulnerable condition. She was not joined to the Lord yet, but while she was married to Him, she had a protector, and He protected her against Satan, so long as she disagreed with Satan, so long as she said, "Jehovah is my husband and I do not want you, go away," He defended her, but when she said, "No that sounds good, I want it," He said, "I am not going to fight for a harlot wife." That is what happened. They stripped off the spiritual protection, when they decided that they did not want Jehovah's protection. They did not want it, they were going to fornicate anyway, He took off his spiritual protection and He left. What happened after He left was that, Israel became fair game for Satan, and Satan moved in, in great power, because her protector was gone. Satan causes us to sin, and the result of sin is death of the body and the soul. Israel removed the ancient landmark of her husband, Jehovah. She caused His body and His soul to die, and He divorced her. Hallelujah. Glory to God.
Alternate Translation, "If you destroy your lover's body and soul, He will divorce you, and you will become a natural man without a spiritual protector, you will be totally subject to Satan. If you destroy your lover's body and soul, He will divorce you, and you will become a natural man without a spiritual protector." Israel had spiritual power, they had spiritual power. For some reason, I did not understand that for years. I am with the Lord for nine years, and it was not until very recently that God gave me a revelation that natural Israel had spiritual power, greater than anything we are seeing in the church today. Maybe not greater than what we saw when Jesus Christ was alive, I doubt it, but greater than what we are seeing in the church today. They never went to doctors, they were not sick, they had supernatural power, they never lost a battle, they had power, brethren.
Proverbs 23:10, "Remove not the old landmark and enter not into the fields of the fatherless. That word, "old," it is the same as ancient; we already talked about it, "From the beginning of time, if you remove the ancient landmark, you are going to enter into the fields of the fatherless." This Hebrew word translated, "remove," is a different word than the ones we have dealt with previously. It is Strong's #5472, and it means, "to fall away, or to apostatize." Glory to God. Now, to apostatize, to fall away, you have to have been with the Lord. You cannot fall away from something, that you never attained to. God is saying in this Scripture, Proverbs 23:10, "Do not remove, do not involve yourself in behavior, that is going to destroy the bodies and souls of God's people." Be careful. "fields," means, "to spread out," and the word, "fatherless," means, "to be lonely, to be an orphan, to be a bereaved person," and it means, "to cause the root of Christ to leave your flesh, so that future generations will be without the root of Christ."
Now, what happened over here, glory to God, with natural Israel, when they lost their protector, Jehovah, and Satan took them over. What happened to the future generations of Israel? She lost the anointing. What we are looking for, brethren, is a spiritual seed in us that will permit us to reproduce the life of Christ, because when we reproduce the life of Christ, He stays with us, and we have eternal life. Well, Israel lost, they lost the seed of Christ, and they have been producing generations ever since. They cannot produce Christ. It is possible, (now we have already discussed this,) that you cannot be fertilized and produce Christ unless His root is in you. You have to have a root within you and then the seed comes forth and fertilizes you.
Remember the parable of the different kinds of soil? The soil, there was only one out of four kinds of soil that was good soil, that produced the life of Christ. You have to have a root of Christ within you, so that when the seed of Christ falls upon you, you can birth the son. Well it is possible somewhere along this line of generations to lose that root that is going to permit you to be fertilized and produce the life of Christ. Hallelujah. Glory to God. I know there have been a lot of questions on that, about this being incarnated at the will of Adam and being incarnated at the will of God. What it all means, and I think God has a lot of answers for us, I think there is going to be another message on this. I do not think I am going to go into it too deeply today, I will probably go back on to it, Wednesday.
Alternate Translation - "If you destroy your body and soul, you will become as one, incarnated at the will of Adam, not having the root of Christ, which enables you to be fertilized, and bring forth the son of God, who will give you eternal life."
If you destroy your body and soul, if you become a harlot, and you fornicate with Satan, you can lose your opportunity to reproduce Christ. I Corinthians 6:15-20, "Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ, shall I then take the members of Christ and make them the members of a harlot? God forbid. What? Know ye not that he, that is joined to a harlot is one body? For two, saith He, shall be one flesh, but he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth, is without the body, but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body. What? Know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit which are God's."
Fornication will destroy your opportunity to reproduce Christ. Now, this is speaking to the church, brethren. If you have received the Holy Spirit, you have the vehicle to produce Christ. If you fornicate, you are going to chase Him away. Glory to God. In essence, what the Lord is saying to us is that, even if you have the Spirit of God, if you have the Spirit of God, brethren, and you are fornicating, He could leave you. He could leave you just like Jehovah left natural Israel. Until you are fully joined to the Lord, if you blatantly go against the word of Lord and willfully sin, He can leave you.
You can have the Holy Spirit, you can talk in tongues, you can dance and sing in the spirit, but Satan, even if he is down here, (and we have talked about this,) and he is pulsating thoughts to you, and you are doing it, and you are hearing it preached, and you are reading the Bible, and you are still doing things that you know that you are not supposed to be doing, and you have not even said to the Lord, "I cannot stop, please help me." You can produce evil fruit when you have the Holy Spirit. Let us not be naive, you can do it. If you keep on doing that, the day is going to come that there is going to be so much evil fruit produced that the Holy Spirit is going to turn you over. You have to work with God, to get yourself cleaned up. You have to at least desire it, you cannot run around doing whatever you are going to do, saying, "It is okay, because I am washed in the blood of the Lamb." There are all kinds of people out in the church world doing it. Glory to God.
I just want to touch very briefly on Luke 16:19, if the Lord lets me, I will come back to this on Wednesday night. "There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: and there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs, which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. It came to pass that the beggar died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died, and was buried." Everybody has been asking for centuries, where is Abraham's bosom? "And in hell, he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, "Father Abraham have mercy on me."
There was a certain rich man, this man was a Jew, he had the Spirit of God, he had the word of God, he had the law of God. He was clothed in purple, that is the Spirit of God, (fine linen). Linen is woven, that means his soul, and his body, was under the protection of the spiritual deity of God, and he fared sumptuously. He prospered because of the word of the Lord in his life.
There was a certain beggar named Lazarus. That word, "beggar," means, (refers to being fearful,) it means, "to be thoroughly frightened," and it often involves the idea of roving about in wretchedness, and it was always used in a bad sense until Jesus used it in the Scriptures. It means, "down, poor, needy, without the ones of old." It is a man who does not have a protected spirit. Glory to God. "And there was a certain beggar name Lazarus, which was laid at his gate and was full of sores. He laid at the gate of the rich man, he saw the landmark, he said, God is here, I see the Spirit of God, I see the word of God, I see the prosperity of God, and he laid himself at the rich man's gate in the hopes of receiving mercy. Moreover, the dogs came and licked his sores." The demons were devouring his soul, and there was no help for him.
"And it came to pass that the beggar died." This word, "died," we have been talking about the word death here. We have talked about the word, "necro" and the word, "thanatos." This is a different word. It means, "to be slain." He died, he was slain, totally slain. "And it came to pass that the beggar was slain, and he was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom." The rich man also was slain, he had all of the things of God and he was slain too. Why is not the word, "thanatos," used here? Why did his soul not separate from his body? Because, even though he had the word of God and the Spirit of God and the prosperity of God, he had no mercy, and he lost it, brethren. He was slain, and he was buried. Glory to God.
The word, "bosom," talking about Abraham's bosom is referring to the anatomical center or the place of the secret hidden thoughts, the spiritual things that are in the mind of God. We have had some teaching here about the fact that our spiritual life is in the...we are in the memory of God, we are thoughts in the memory of God. If someone was in the bosom of Abraham, they were in the memory of God. It was God's intention to give them eternal life, and the word, "Abraham," means, "the faith of a multitude." The bosom of Abraham means, "a hidden place," a spiritual place in Abraham where the sons of God are producing souls and bodies unto perfection.
Now after everything that we heard today, we should realize that the Scripture says, "In Abraham." It is not talking about the man that was known as Abraham of the Chaldees. It is not talking about that, it is talking about the spiritual family. You see, Abraham was just one man, he produced children, and they produced children, and they produced children, and they produced children. At the time that this parable was given, all of Israel was a product of this man, and every person along the way made their contribution to that last generation that rejected Christ. Everyone along the way made their contribution that ended up like this.
When it says that Lazarus was carried into the bosom of Abraham, what I am suggesting to you, brethren, is that there are people in this earth that are from a spiritual source, because everyone has a spiritual source. They are poor, and they do not have the root of Christ, and they do not have the root of Christ that is going to enable them to produce Messiah. God calls them poor, he calls them beggars. Well, I guess, poor is not a good word because sometimes God uses that to describe the weak, so I will not use that. He calls them beggars, He calls them fearful, He calls them natural man, carnal man. They cannot produce Christ, they do not have the root, they cannot do it, but somehow by some miracle, God has made a provision. It is possible for one of these men to be carried into the bosom of Abraham, and to come up and become a member of this family line and receive everything which is down here, which is the root of Christ There is a way it could be done, but in the same context, this guy up here, the rich man that had all the things of God, and was not using them as God would have liked him to use them, it is possible for him to wind up down here. Glory to God.
That is what happened. "And in Hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments." We know that fear has torment. This rich man that had everything, all of a sudden he was afraid, he had become the beggar, he was afraid, and he said, "Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue." We know that, "For I am tormented in this flame," we know that God is the fire. He came down here and he came under the judgments. He came out from under the mercy of God, and he came under the judgments of God, and he saw that Lazarus somehow, miraculously, had been transferred up into this place where he could produce Christ.
I am not going to go on with the parable because it really does not have anything to do with our teaching. I just put it in, for this concept of the spiritual lifetime, and that it is possible to have your lot changed, and the way it is changed is in Christ Jesus. The way it is changed is in Christ Jesus. This man down here, this poor man, this beggar that was begging for the mercy of God, Jesus Christ came to him and adopted him. He gave him the seed, he adopted him. Glory to God. He gave him the spirit of adoption, and He gave him the root that would enable him to be fertilized. Glory to God.
There is more to this. I will be honest with you, God gave this to me last night, and Satan stole it from me. I woke up this morning and it was gone. I am praying about it, I hope this has been a blessing to you. If God gives it back to me, I will be more than happy, to give you the rest of it, but I am convinced at this point that this was what God has asked me to tell you about this spiritual generation, and that everything that you are today, and everything that I am today, I am the sum total of my family line, to date. That is why those of us who have been in deliverance, we know that there are family line curses, and there are demons that come down on the family line, and that if your ancestors did something, you have got the good that was passed down to you and you have got the bad. This is the same guy over here that was down here, only he has had a few more segments to his lifetime. Any questions?
COMMENT: Could you just tell me again, what is Abraham's bosom, what that means?
SHEILA: Well, the word, "Abraham," means, "the Father of a multitude," and this word, "bosom," means, (I think I got this from Webster's) "the anatomical center, or of the secret hidden thoughts," the spiritual things that are thoughts in the mind of God. When we did that study on the creation, when we said that we were thoughts in the memory of God, and when God stops thinking about us, we cease to exist, okay. To be in Abraham's bosom means that you are in the thoughts of God, because when you are in the thoughts of God, He does not think bad thoughts toward you, He thinks good thoughts toward you. That is the Scripture, "I think good thoughts towards you," when you are in the mind of God. We are constantly being modified for the better, because He is thinking good thoughts to us.
This beggar was carried, by the mercy of God into a place where God saw him, and God saw him because he was laying at the rich man's gate. He discerned the landmark, and he nailed himself to the landmark, he chained himself to the gate and he said, "I want God, I want God." God looked down and He saw him, and He attained a memory of him, and He started thinking towards him, and when God starts thinking towards you, things get better in your life. When God removes Himself from your life, things start getting worse. Glory to God.
