The entire creation is under the wrath of God. We have been locked out of the Garden of Eden because iniquity was found in Adam, the living soul. We cannot get back there in the condition that we are in. God has made, to date, two provisions for the salvation and the redemption of mankind.

He started with natural Israel and the law of Moses, which was just for Israel. He started in a small place. The law of Moses required Levitical sacrifices, and these Levitical sacrifices are symbolic of the sacrifice of our soul. You know from other teachings that the spiritual reality of what is happening to us, is that our own fallen soul has sinned, and the Scripture says, "The soul that sinneth, it must die."

Our soul has to die. Dying is a spiritual work. It cannot die until we receive Jesus Christ. If our soul dies, and we do not have Christ, we are going to come to naught. When Christ has entered into our heart and joined Himself to us, when our soul dies, that spark of life will be transferred into Christ.

The Levitical sacrifice, the sacrificing of bulls and goats was a symbolic offering up of our own fallen soul unto God. The Lord could not permit natural Israel to have their soul die, because the provision for Christ to be joined to them had not yet been made and they would have died. God gave them animal sacrifices as a substitution.

The result of the Levitical sacrifices and obedience to the law of Moses, was that the natural Jew received reconciliation to God through obedience. The sacrifice of the animal did not make the natural Jew righteous. It did not, and it never could make them righteous.

God in His mercy made a substitution available until the eternal sacrifice of Jesus Christ’s spiritual blood was available.

When that became available, God required the natural Jew to have faith in Messiah, Jesus Christ. Some of them discerned Jesus Christ, and some of them did not. Reconciliation, right standing in relationship to God, is the end of the line, outside of Jesus Christ.

You cannot go any further without going on to the next step, Jesus Christ. The book of Hebrews tells us that God took away the Old Covenant to give us the New Covenant because the Old Covenant could not make us perfect. We are supposed to be made perfect. We are not here just to talk in tongues and dance around.

We are supposed to be made perfect, sinless, without spot in our mind.

The next provision that God made was faith in Jesus Christ, and this is available to the world. Faith in Jesus Christ gives you right standing with God. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, whether you believe it right now or not, but because He did it and He is now Savior of the world, gives you right standing with God.

When you do believe, you can immediately begin to appropriate the promise. The world is picking up through this, and they are way ahead of the natural Jew. If you have faith in Jesus Christ you are still under the law.

You are under the law of the Holy Spirit, and you will be under the law, brethren, until you do not need a law, because only a righteous man is not subject to the law.

Paul tells us that the law is not for a righteous man. If you are still sinning in your mind (and, if you are honest with yourself, every man on the face of the earth is), you need a law.

You no longer have to sacrifice bulls and goats, because of the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ, which is once and for all. It is spiritual, it is in the heavens.

All you have to do to appropriate it is to acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Repent of your current sin. You do not repent only once when you get saved. You have to repent every time you sin in your mind or in your behavior. Call upon the name of Jesus Christ, appropriate His sacrifice, and you are again reconciled to God.

You are in right standing with God, but that is not the end of it, brethren.

We are supposed to be made perfect in our conscience. We are supposed to be brought to the place where we are incapable of sin, where we do not need the law, because we do not sin.

We are not going to heaven to dance on streets of gold. We are getting our mind renewed to a place where we do not sin anymore so that we can go back into the heavens with God, back into the Garden of Eden. We want to get back there, no more problems, no more tears.

After we are reconciled to God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, we have to birth the Son. We have to birth the Son of God. The Holy Spirit can be likened to the servant that was sent to get a wife for Isaac. He came with gifts. He brought all the gifts of the Spirit, which you have, but He came to bring you as a bride to the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Lord Jesus Christ is not falling out of heaven, brethren. He is going to be birthed in your own human spirit. When He comes forth He is going to marry you. When He comes forth, He gives us four different things, sanctification, salvation, preservation, and glorification.

This faith in Jesus Christ brings forth salvation, and there are three stages of salvation. There is salvation of the spirit, salvation of the soul, and salvation of the body. When you get what is generally referred to as salvation, you have actually just touched on the beginning of the process of salvation of the spirit.

Your spirit is not saved, brethren, until you are not sinning in your mind. I am sorry. All that you have is the promise. What you have initially is the promise of salvation.

Paul tells us we have the earnest of our inheritance. After you birth the Son, you then start to get the real thing, because it is the Son that gives you the power to stop sinning in your mind. The Son gives us salvation, full salvation, spirit, soul, and body.

He gives us sanctification. We talked about this last week. He gives us preservation, and He gives us perfection, which is the end of the process.

This word "salvation" is involved in every one of these other three words, sanctification, preservation, and perfection. Salvation is a very confusing word. Last week, I did not know whether to put it first or second. The truth is that you are really not getting salvation when you answer an alter call.  It is the promise of salvation.

When the Holy Spirit comes, the first thing that He does is sanctify your mind. He tells you how to think straight. Then comes salvation, because salvation is rescue.

How could that be, how could you be sanctified before you are rescued? Well, you are rescued in a measure initially because you get the Holy Spirit, but you really cannot be rescued until you start thinking right.

Salvation is present, but the Scripture does say, "Sanctify your mind so that you could be saved." Sanctification leads to salvation, which is safety.

Let me tell you something. I do not care if you have the Holy Spirit or not, if your mind is in such a state that it can get you to marry a man that has all kinds of emotional problems, a man that does not work, that is not going to meet the basic responsibilities of a husband, you cannot tell me you are saved.

I know a man, he married a woman who was a mental patient, she was deranged. He just wanted to get married in the church. He said God told him that she was going to be normal in a year. Well, a year later she was not normal, and he was angry at God, he was angry at her, he was bitter.

Let me tell you something, brethren, getting your mind straightened out is excruciating. To this date, there are very few people that have attained to it. That has been my experience.

I am in the church nine years, and I have known hundreds of people in the church. There are very few of them whose mind has been changed. They may have acquired a knowledge of the Word, they may be able to argue Scripture with you.

Maybe they can heal, maybe they can cast out demons, but people who have been delivered from curses in their mind that bring destruction and unhappiness into their life are very few.

I maintain that even in those people who have been delivered from alcoholism, drug addiction, and homosexuality, there are whole personality profiles that are behind that behavior. These people might be delivered from the act of drinking, the act of drug addiction, the act of homosexuality, but they all have personality problems that manifested in whatever their problem was.

You cannot get delivered from one spirit of homosexuality. You need deep deliverance in your personality if you have come to that place in your life. Even if you are divorced, I will say it for myself, if you have been divorced, you have deep trauma in your soul. You need deliverance, you need your mind renewed. You need to be changed before you can get married again and have even a chance. God has been working on me for nine years.

This sanctification, this getting your mind straight is important. You cannot be saved unless your mind is straight, because what are you saved from? When you are saved, what are you saved from? You are saved from your carnal mind. The true salvation is dominion over your carnal mind, amen?

When Christ first comes into your life, Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, has great power over you and the battle begins. The Spirit of Christ goes to war with Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. Michael and the angels are fighting against the beast, the subconscious part of the carnal mind. This is you when you first get saved.

When you first have your initial salvation experience, Christ, in the form of the Holy Spirit, comes into your life and goes to war with Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. Ultimately, your soul is going to change its position.

Christ is going to be on top; Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is going to be bound underneath. When your soul gets converted to this condition, you have power.

You see, Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is still talking to you.  He is still saying, "sin, sin, sin, be envious, hate," do all of these things, but you have power in Christ to tread him underfoot.

When your soul is in the condition that Satan is on top, you have no power, and Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is telling you all the same things, "sin, fornicate, drink, be envious, hate your brother."

How are you going to stop it? How are you saved? You are not saved. What you have received is the vehicle that will eventually give you the power to overcome Satan, the unconscious part of the canal mind.

When you first get the Holy Spirit, maybe God pours out an anointing on you. You stop drinking, but all of the problems associated with your drinking are still there. This happens very frequently. You stop drinking, you stop taking drugs, but it is the mercy of God. The problems in your heart that caused you to do these things are still there and you have to be delivered of them.

Very often, there are evil spirits involved, but the very core of it is wrong thinking. Your mind has to be sanctified because as long as you continue with this wrong thinking, you are going to continue to produce demons. What good is deliverance if you keep producing more demons?

First, you have a salvation experience, then your mind gets sanctified, then you come to a place of safety which is Christ on top and Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is on the bottom. That is the place of safety. I had it backwards last week. Did I make that clear?

The initial salvation experience is the promise, it is not really salvation. After you receive the promise, it is sanctification first and safety second. Then after safety, you come to preservation.

If you recall from last week, preservation is a condition of the armor of God being built up in you so that when the temptation comes against you, you will not even have to fight it off. It is just going to bounce right off you, ping, ping, ping; it is just going to bounce right off of you.

I know that I had a hard time yesterday. I was lusting for something, and I was fully aware that it was lust. I wanted it, I just wanted it. I am committed to not do anything, to not buy anything unless God wants me to have it. This was a major purchase, and my soul had power.

Now, I think that I am moving into preservation. I am not completely preserved, but I am moving into it. Well, let me tell you, Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, in my own mind rose up in me, he was strong. God had mercy on me.

He knows my heart, and He anointed me to cry out to Him and to say, "Lord, I want it so bad, and this is why I want it, and I cannot see any reason why I should not have it, and I would really like it, but if you say that this is not the time, I really do not want it unless it is from you, but I am lusting. I have not lusted like this in months, and it is really strong and I am in trouble." You know He delivered me from the lust.

I still want it, but I mean it was bad. I was ready to just run out and buy it. I mean that is not God.  Compulsiveness is not God. Whatever happens, if He gives it to me, fine, but if He does not, that is fine too.

It is still happening to me, but when you are preserved, when you are safe, Christ is on top and Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is on the bottom. When you are preserved you have a moat built around your city, you are a defensed city.

Remember that Scripture in the book of Revelation where it says that Satan was in the bottomless pit for a thousand years? He came out and attacked the city of God and lightening came down and destroyed him.

Are you familiar with that Scripture? It is in Chapter 20 of Revelation. It tells us about Satan being in the bottomless pit, and in verses 7 to 9 it says, "And when the thousand years are expired, Satan, shall be loosed out of his prison and shall go out to deceive the nations, which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth..."

The breadth of the earth is our soul. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, came out of the pit and surrounded our soul. "...and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city..." That is the new Jerusalem, the Jerusalem of God, that is after you are preserved. "...and fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them." That is the ultimate of preservation. You have this wall around you.

Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, still got out and climbed up on the breadth, and tried to surround the walled city and influence it, influence your soul to sin, but Hallelujah, glory to God, fire came from the Christ.

The defense came from God, fire came from the Christ, and it utterly destroyed it. Lightening came from heaven, and this attack, this attempt to influence our soul to sin was destroyed. That is the fullness of preservation. The temptation comes, and they cannot get you.

I had that victory yesterday. God gave me the victory, but it was really a tough battle, and it was only by His mercy that He delivered me. Then, of course, the ultimate is perfection. Perfection is when your soul is glorified to the point that it is delivered from the restraints of the physical body.  You are completely joined to Christ, and you do not have any of these battles.

The struggle is over. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is swallowed up by Christ. That is it.

So once again, it is the promise first, a promise of salvation. The next thing that happens to you is that your mind gets straightened out, it is renewed, and you get the understanding of right thinking. Then you come to a place of safety. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind is underfoot. Then you come into preservation, you are a defensed city.

Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, can still impulse thoughts to you, but your armor is up, and you are going to throw it off. The last step is perfection, where there is no more struggle and that is the peace of God. That is the ultimate of the promise of God, no more struggle, and we are back in the Garden of Eden. Glory to God.

What we are talking about today is the adoption. Christ Jesus is adopting our soul which will then ascend into the heavens where it will receive a new spiritual body. Hallelujah.

The Greek word "adoption" is Strong's #5206. It is the process by which God is going to accomplish all of this, because for us to receive all of this ministry, sanctification, salvation, preservation, and glorification, we have to have a relationship with Him.

The first thing that He does is that He adopts us as Sons, so that we can be the recipient of this work that we just talked about. Adoption is the process of becoming a member of God's family, or having a right relationship with God, so that we can receive this four-fold promise of sanctification, salvation, preservation, and glorification.

The Greek word #5206 merely means "adoption." Webster's says that to adopt means "to take by choice into a relationship, to take a child as your own child," and it means to accept something that was created by another, as your own. It is also a synonym of spouse (It means the same thing as).

According to Webster's, to marry someone and to adopt someone is basically the same thing.  You take responsibility for them. You are taking responsibility for them, you are giving them your name, and they are going to be the recipients of everything that is yours. It is the same process, whether you take a son or whether you take a wife. Is that not interesting? I found that interesting.

The root of the Greek word that means adoption is Strong's #5087, which means "to place in a horizontal position." That means either when you are married, or when someone adopts you, you come into a place of submission. That is the spiritual law of God.

Partnerships are illegal.  You cannot have two bosses. There is an order of authority in God. The Scripture tells us, God the Father is over all, then it is Christ, God in the flesh. Then it is man, the human spirit that is being renewed, and then it is the woman, which is the soul.

You have to have submission in a father-daughter relationship, a father-son relationship or a husband-wife relationship. The person that is in the position of submission is not a slave.  They have recourse. If the person in the position of authority is wronging you, or you believe that they are wronging you, your recourse is to petition God.

It is not an argument, it is not rebellion, it is not manifesting Jezebel.  It is petitioning God. That is the proper order.

The second you come out of proper order, God is against you. I do not care if your husband is one hundred percent wrong, the second you attack him, you have lost your right standing with God. You have to repent of your rebellion before God is going to hear your petition about this terrible thing that you husband has probably done to you. I am not denying that husbands do terrible things to their wives on occasion.

If you want God to help you, you cannot go before the throne of God banging, and screaming, and yelling, and cursing, and accusing your husband. You have to say, "Father, I am hurt, I am wounded, I am betrayed, I am really devastated. He has really failed me, help me and help us, and help our marriage."

Do not come before God accusing him.  Come before God as though you are one with your husband, saying, "Lord help us," because if you are hurt he is hurt. He may be acting like he is really tough, but if you are hurt, he is hurt. He may not even know it, but if you are hurt, he is hurt.

To get married or to be adopted, you have to submit to the spiritual elder. You cannot get what the relationship has for you unless you submit to the spiritual elder and live your life in order. Nobody is perfect but Jesus Christ. If you have a complaint, you can complain.  Just do it right. Hallelujah.

Luke 3:38 says that, "...which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God." What we are saying is that this word "adoption" refers to "son," and it refers to the adoption of the first man, Adam, who also was a Son of God. He was the first element of the creation. Hallelujah.

First, God made the first man who was a living soul, then the second man who was a Life-giving spirit. He is joining the two of them together to complete His creation.  We are an incomplete creation. We have all the spiritual problems that we have because we are not complete. There is something missing from us. We need something added to us. What is going to be added to us is Christ Jesus and everything that He is, His righteousness, His life, His mercy, His glory.

He is joining Himself to us, He is adopting us, He is marrying us. He is giving us all of theses things so that we could be completed, and so that the valleys in us will be filled up and the high places will be brought down.

We are going to become an even, smooth creation, totally in charge of our life. No demon is going to overtake us, no situation is going to overtake us. There will not be anything that we cannot deal with. Our righteousness, and our wisdom, and our life will have been joined to us in Christ Jesus, who is our provision for survival. Hallelujah.

We are all predestined to the adoption. This is promised in Ephesians 1:4-5, "According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself according to the good pleasure of His will."

The Greek word translated "chosen" means "to select," and it is from a root that means "the point from which the action proceeds." It is from two roots, and the second root is "to relate in words."

We know that God spoke this whole creation into existence. Those of us that are chosen, we were chosen from the very beginning. God spoke it that we would be here. He spoke us into existence. "According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love."

Holiness refers to the spirit. Holiness is righteousness, and only a spirit could be righteous.

Your soul is the part of you that sins, that is to be made blameless in Christ Jesus. Your soul has to be purified. Our soul is filled with spots and flaws. Right now, we are a fallen creation, and it is our soul that is filled with blame.

We are promised a pure spirit, and a soul that is pure and that has not produced evil, wicked works of blasphemy, which need to be cast out of us. The Greek word "love" is the Greek word for "agape love." He wants us to be holy before Him, holy and without blame before Him in the agape love of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I have an Alternate Translation for you. Verse 4, "He has spoken us into existence before the Son of God was made into a man, that our spirit should be made righteous and our soul without evil fruit by the power of the indwelling Christ."

Verse 5, "Having decided before He did it that we, who started out being soul men, should be joined to the spirit of Jesus Christ and appear with Him as sons, according to the beneficial purpose of His will." Glory to God.

We were chosen before God even formed the creation. God knew us in the realm of the spirit.  We were each a spark of spiritual life. It is the will of God that we would receive a soul which is our emotions, and that we would receive a spiritual body. That is His will, and that will is being brought to pass right now, only it is taking thousands of years because Adam fell and the creation died.

A lot of people stumble over this. It is taking thousands of years for God to create the creation, because He has to raise us from the dead before His plan can go forth. There are about five or six Scriptures in Strong's with regard to the adoption.

I am going over every one of those Scriptures. The next Scripture we are going over is in regards to the things which precede the adoption.

Romans 9:4, "For my brethren, according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom pertaineth the adoption and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises."

We have talked about this. It is very common in the Scripture that whoever is preaching, names the accomplished fact first. Paul says that the adoption pertaineth to Israel, also to the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service of God and the promises.

When God wants to adopt you, He does not give you the adoption first. He starts with the last thing, He starts with the promises. God names the accomplished fact first, and then He goes backwards. The true order, if you want to attain to the adoption, is the promises, the service of God, the giving of the law, the covenants, the glory, and the adoption.

We are starting with the promises. II Peter 1:4, "Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises, that by these ye might be partakers of the Divine Nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world, through lust."

The promise is that we are going to partake of the Divine Nature. The mind of Christ is promised to you, to be your righteousness.  Through His righteousness in you, you attain to eternal life. There is no eternal life with your mind in the condition that it is in, brethren. You cannot die and go to heaven and get righteousness.

You have to get cleaned up, and before you can get cleaned up, you have to admit that there is something wrong with you.

Between you and me, I do not know how the world is going to get it, because they will not admit that there is anything wrong with them. I spoke to someone the other day, and I said, "How are they ever going to get this promise when they cannot admit that there is something wrong with them?"

This person said to me, "They are going to have to come to the place where the streets are filled with people dying of AIDS. That is the only thing that is going to bring them down from their pride. They think they are okay."

You tell them that Jesus loves them, and oh, that is great, that Jesus died on the cross for them, that is great. You tell them they are going to get blessings, they are going to get healings, they are going to get financial blessings, and oh, that is great, but when it comes time for them to hear that their soul has to be cleansed, and they have to admit that there is none righteous but Jesus Christ, it is a different response.

When they have to admit that the heart of man is desperately wicked, when they have to admit that the depths of their motives are selfish, they will not do it! They will not do it. Some of us, well most of us here, did not come the easy way.

Well, I do not know about you, but I did not come the easy way. I was sick for years. I had a terrible life before I came to that place. That is just the way it is.  Most people have to be beaten to a pulp, not everybody though. Praise the Lord.

One of the promises is that we will inherit the Divine Nature. It is going to be ours. We are not going to have the soul nature and the Divine Nature. The soul nature is going to disappear. We are going to become righteous in our thoughts. Hallelujah.  Because we will be righteous in our thoughts, we will escape corruption. What corrupts? Your body and your soul, they corrupt, they die.

Your soul and your body are going to stop dying when your spirit is righteous. When you receive the Divine Nature, your spirit, your soul, and your body will stop dying. It has nothing to do with dying and going to heaven. What is being saved is your soul, and then you will receive a new, spiritual body.

If your body dies before you get these promises, what do you have? The promise is that your body and your soul will not die.

How can you say that you have to die and go to heaven to get saved? These are the promises. We are going to get the Divine Nature, the mind of God WHILE WE ARE STILL IN THE FLESH.

We are going to escape corruption in our soul and in our body WHILE WE ARE STILL IN THE FLESH. The reason we are going to escape these things is because we are going to be delivered from lust. We are going to stop lusting, which results in sin.

Hebrews 6:13 says, "For when God made promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no greater, He sware by Himself, saying, Surely, in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thee." Glory to God. When God makes a promise, He swears by Himself because there is none greater. Part of the promise is that we will be multiplied, glory to God, and we will be blessed.

Before I was saved, I would hear people saying, "God bless you," and I thought it was just a platitude, but when you bless somebody there is power in it, and when God blesses you, you are blessed. That is part of the promise, that we are going to be blessed. Hallelujah.

II Corinthians 6:16-18, this is a promise of God to Israel that is quoted from the Old Testament. "I will dwell in them and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people, wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing, and I will receive you, and be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters."

Here we go again with God speaking the greatest part of the promise first, but if we want to get there, we have to start at the smallest part of the promise. I am going to read it backwards with Verse 18 first. God says, "I am calling you to be my sons and my daughters, and I want to be a Father unto you, and I want to receive you. If you want this, touch not the unclean thing. Wherefore come out from among those who sin and be ye separate."

This does not only refer to other people. You have to also come out from that which is in your own mind that sins. You have to develop a life in Christ that is separate from your soul life that wants to sin. When you develop a separate life, then that life is going to rise up in the power of Christ and overtake that which, in you, is driving you to sin and bring it into submission. Hallelujah.

The Lord says, "When you come out and you become separate, when your mind is sanctified, then I will be your God, and you will be my people." Remember, at the beginning, He was Father and we were the son. Now, He says He is going to be our God, we are going to be His people, He is going to dwell in us, and He is going to walk in us.

If you recall, He dwelled and walked in Adam in the Garden.

That is restoration to a full and living relationship with the living God in which there is no danger to us. We are under full spiritual protection, every need is met, no hunger, no lack of a home, no emotional hurt.

We will not need anything from our fellow man who is not even capable of giving it to us. God will meet our every need, and we will then be in a position to go to other people who are hurting and wounded and help them. Hallelujah, glory to God.

The next thing is the service of God. Hebrews 9: 6-9, this is the next step along the way to adoption.

"Now when these things were ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people: The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way in to the holiest of all was not yet made manifest while as the first tabernacle was yet standing; which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices that could not make Him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience." Glory to God.

We are talking about the service of God. The service of God was one way in the Old Testament and another way in the New Testament. In the Old Testament, the way you served God was in obedience to the law, and there were priests that actually had to do the work. It was all works. In the New Testament, we serve God by obedience to the Holy Spirit.

Alternate Translation, Hebrew 8: 8-9. "We are told that the way into the holiest place of all was not available to man when the first tabernacle was standing; only the high priest was allowed in." Only the high priest could see God face to face.

Even the other Levite priests could not.  You had to be the high priest.  There was no personal relationship with God, you could only reach him through these rituals and obedience to the law, and bringing your animals to the priest to be sacrificed.

"We are told that the tabernacle that ancient Israel worshiped in was just a type of the real spiritual tabernacle, which served for that time, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices. These gifts and sacrifices could not redeem the priest's fallen nature."

Now, if the work that the high priest had to do could not redeem his fallen nature, how could he redeem the fallen nature that he was interceding for? Impossible. I want to point out to you that it says here that, for that dispensation, for that time, it was sufficient.

That goes back to what we were saying earlier. If you were in a particular kind of church and you believed in a particular kind of prayer, and that was where God had you, it was sufficient for that time, but the day comes when God says to you, "There is a more perfect way, there is a more perfect way."

What we are saying is that the person that is the high priest, the person that intercedes for us cannot give us what he does not have. The Levitical high priest did not have salvation, so he could not save those for whom he interceded.

However, Hebrews 9:11,14, "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building, how much more shall the blood of Christ who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God."

Our high priest in the new covenant, Jesus Christ, is perfect. He is righteous before God. There is no sin in Him.  Therefore, His intercession has the power to make us like Him. Glory to God.

Alternate Translation, Verses 11 and 14, "But Christ is the high priest of a multitude of blessings which come only through the true spiritual tabernacle, not the one made with hands, that is to say, not a natural building, but the power of the eternal spirit, and by the power of His eternal spirit, His human life produced no evil fruit, His soul had no evil spirits, no curses, no wrong thinking, He was preserved."

Before He died He was not glorified, but He was preserved. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, could not get to Him at all. His soul was perfect.

"Jesus’ soul life was offered as a perfect sacrifice to God and through glorification He received the power to cleanse all of Israel from sin, not just Himself, but all of Israel, and deliver them from the bondage of religious ritual into the spiritual place where they could serve God spirit to spirit."

You do not have to sacrifice animals and not work on the Sabbath, and do all of these things anymore. Because Jesus Christ is our high priest, we can now touch God for our self. Glory to God, Hallelujah.

The third thing leading up to the adoption is the giving of the law, and that is given in the book of Exodus 19:4-8.

"You have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, (God speaking), and how I bare you on eagle's wings and brought you unto myself, now therefore if you will obey my voice indeed and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people, for all the earth is mine. And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation, these are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel." This is God speaking to Moses.

Verse 7, "And Moses came and called the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all of these words which the Lord commanded him. All the people answered together and said, All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and Moses returned the words of the people to the Lord."

Israel entered into a covenant with God.  God gave them a chance to say "no," but they said, "We will keep the covenant with you Lord, we are going to keep all your laws."

I am not going to go into it now, but if you want to read through the Law of Ordinances, it is in Exodus 20-23.  It is much more than the ten commandments. There is no way that you cannot break the law if you do not know what the law is. I try to read it at least once a year. We are told in the book of Ezra or Nehemiah that the law should be read once a year, because we do not remember these things.

The fourth thing leading up to the adoption is the covenants.  God has given more than one covenant. Exodus 24:8 says, "And Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said, Behold the covenant which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words."

This is the Old Covenant.  It is referring to all of the laws and statues that we just talked about. God said that if you break, if there is one point of the law that you cannot keep, you have broken the whole law. In so many words, it is impossible for the natural man to keep the law.

It is impossible, and that is why we need a sacrifice. In the Old Covenant the sacrifice of bulls and goats permitted us access to God, and in the New Covenant the sacrifice of Jesus Christ gives us access to God.

We need to continuously repent of our sins until our mind is cleansed to the point where we do not sin in our mind, for the promises to become a reality for us, which is the sacrifice of our own sin nature. When our own sin nature is dead, we no longer need a sacrifice, because we will be righteous, and the law has no power over a righteous man. Hallelujah.

The New Covenant is described in the book of Hebrews Chapter 8, Verses 7-8, 10-12. Hebrews 8: 7, "For if that the first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second." That covenant that said you were made righteous before God because you sacrifice an animal, if that could make you perfect, there would not be a need for a second covenant.

Verse 8, "For finding fault with them, the Lord said, Behold, the days come saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah." Glory to God.

Verse 10, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel, and after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws in their mind, and write them in their heart, and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people, and they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother saying, Know the Lord, for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest, and I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more."

In the Old Covenant we continue to sin, and the Lord keeps saying, "I forgive you, I forgive you, I forgive you," but the New Covenant is that you will not sin. The promise is that you will not sin, and He will be our God.

Was He not our God in the Old Covenant? What does He mean by that? Brethren, your God is the spirit who manifests through you. If you are a soul man and you are sinning, your god is Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. I am sorry.

When you receive your initial salvation experience, when you receive the promise, that starts to change. Christ goes to war with Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, so that He can be your God and He starts to defeat Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind.

If you are living after the flesh, your god is Satan. I am sorry if that offends you, but the truth is going to set you free.

I am not condemning you.  If you cannot receive it, pray about it, put it on the shelf, submit it to God and wait until He talks to you about it. When God is your God, every thought that comes into your mind, every word that comes out of your mouth will result from the will of the Lord God in your mind.

When you punch that guy down the street, that is not the living God. Your god is Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, Glory to God.

The fifth thing along the line to adoption is the glory. Natural Israel had the glory of God, but it was not permanent.  It rested upon the ark, and the ark was in the middle of their camp. We are promised that the glory will reside in us and be our very nature.  That is what the difference is. It is the imputed versus the imparted anointing.

Natural Israel did have the glory, but it was an imputed glory. It was temporary because we know that it departed from them. "Ichabod," the glory of the Lord is departed from Israel.

Once the glory of God becomes a part of your nature, when the glory of God is joined to your soul, it cannot depart because it is you. If you have a coat, and you wear that coat, you can lose the coat, but you cannot lose your skin, it is a part of you.

The glory of God under the Old Covenant was like a coat.  They wore it like a garment, and they did indeed lose it. In the New Covenant, we are going to be joined to it and be one with the glory of God. It is going to be like our skin, a part of us, and there is no losing it. Hallelujah.

Zachariah 2:5 says, "For I, saith the Lord, will be a wall of fire around about [Israel] and will be the glory in the midst of her." However, in the new covenant, God is going to join His glory to our soul.

Colossians 3:4 says, "When Christ who is our life shall appear, then shall ye also appear with Him in glory." I wanted to draw you a sketch of that. I am not really sure that everybody has an idea of what that is going to be like. When Christ is going to appear in us, this is what is happening.

We are a living soul that died, and Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is our god. He is the god of this world. He is the spirit that rules the living soul that died, and he appeared in the realm of appearance. Remember the soul is spiritual.

Everything that we do down here in this realm of appearance, all of our behavior, is a result of Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. If we fornicate, it is because Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, in the unseen realm of our mind desires to fornicate. If we lie, it is because Satan is a liar, he is the father of lies. If we steal, it is a direct result of the mind that is in us.

Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, sends all these impulses as thoughts into our mind, causing us to sin, and we are under the wrath of God because of it. We are going to have a salvation experience, we are going to receive the promise.

What is the promise? It is that the Spirit of God is going to come into our spirit and overtake Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind. He is going to completely overtake him, layer him in, cover him over.

Now, Satan is not being cast out. The only thing that is being cast out is the evil fruit that Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, has produced. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is staying right there, but he is getting layered in. He is being overlaid by Jesus Christ so that he is powerless and cannot move.

Satan is the spiritual warp of the garment of creation that has had an independent existence up to this time, but now Christ Jesus, the spiritual woof of the creation, is weaving Himself over and through Satan, the spiritual warp of the creation, and the unconscious part of the carnal mind.

We can say that the Mind of Christ is piercing through and overlayering the carnal mind. Hallelujah! All of a sudden, Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is now powerless. All the thoughts that are coming into our mind are blessings, mercy, righteousness, because they emanate from the Mind of Christ, and the result is eternal life.

When the Scripture says, "When He appears, we shall appear with Him," it is talking about when He appears in our mind, when He appears in our soul. When He overtakes Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, we are going to appear with Him out here in the realm of appearance in our thoughts, in our words, in our life, and every manifestation of our life.

When He appears in the soul, we appear with Him in the realm of appearance. Hallelujah.

Who wants heaven with streets of gold? I do not want a Cadillac. I want to be righteous and all of the blessings that go with it. You can keep your Cadillac.

I was behind a man last night that was driving an Audi, a convertible Audi, and oh, did he look like he was really hot, you know. I said, "You can have it," I said to myself, "You can have it, I just want God." Hallelujah, glory to God.

1 John 3:2, "Beloved, now are we the Sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be, but we know that when we shall appear, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is." That is another Scripture.

When He appears in our mind, we shall be like Him down here. We shall see Him as He is, because He is going to be our mind.  We are going to understand Him. We are going to know Him intimately because we are going to think like Him, we are going to feel like Him, we are going to talk like Him.

We are going to be like Him in every manner shape and form, so we are going to see Him like He is, and what He is, is what we are.

The spirit that rules in your mind is what you are. You are not this body, you are the god that rules in your mind, and if you have received the promise, you probably have two gods. What the promise gives you is the power to put the god that is destroying you underfoot. Hallelujah.

If you have received the promise, and you cannot find the power to put Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, under your feet, you are either laboring under evil spirits, a damaged soul, or a multitude of curses, and you need an application of the power of God to your soul to put Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, underfoot.

If Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is ruling (as is the case in every natural man), and then Jesus comes to you, and you have a salvation experience (which is just the down payment, it is not the full power of God), and it is not strong enough to bring Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, underfoot, it means that there is great strength in your fallen soul.

Something is wrong. Either you have curses, or evil spirits, or a damaged soul.

What are curses? Curses are wrong thinking, so it means your mind is not sanctified. What are evil spirits? Evil spirits are birthed as a result of your sin. How is your soul damaged? Your soul can be damaged from experiences that you have had. If you are a woman and you are raped, something happens to your soul. The world knows this, this is no great spiritual truth, the world knows this. You get a scar in your soul, and Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, operates through that scar. You need the curses broken, you need deliverance from evil spirits, and you need the power of God to heal your damaged soul.

If you have been saved, if you have had your initial salvation experience for a period of time, and there are problems in your life that you cannot overcome, and someone tells you that you are no good, do not believe them.  You just call out to God for deliverance.

Most likely, what He will tell you will be in one of these three areas, and He will send you to people that He is manifesting this kind of deliverance through. God does not manifest the same kind of healing through everybody.

A lot of people get upset about this, but I am sorry, it is the truth. Certain people are anointed to do certain things, and you have to find out what God wants you to know to get what you need from Him if you want to go on with God. Hallelujah.

The sixth thing is the adoption itself, and that is described in Romans 9: 5-8, "...whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came [talking about Israel], who is over all, God blessed forever, not as though the Word of God hath taken none effect, for they are not all Israel, which are of Israel, neither because they are of the seed of Abraham are they all children, but in Isaac shall thy seed be called. That is, they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted for the seed."

If you are a member of Israel, you are a member of Israel in your soul. You are not a member of the true Israel of God because you had a natural Jewish birth. This does not lock out natural Israel. A lot of people hear this teaching and they think it is anti-Semitic, it is not anti-Semitic. If you are a natural Jew you can be of spiritual Israel, but you cannot get there any longer by sacrificing animals.

To be of spiritual Israel, you have to acknowledge Messiah and enter into the provision that He has made for you. You are not being denied it, but you cannot enter into the glory by the Old Covenant. You have to move on. This is not anti-Semitism at all. Hallelujah.

You have to recognize Messiah by the power of God and receive His sacrifice. The Levitical sacrifices will not cut it anymore, and, in fact, you are not even performing them in this country because as I understand it, they are illegal.

Who can afford a whole cow to have for your sacrifice anymore? It is not even practical. The truth is if you are a Jew and you think that you are righteous and you go to synagogue on Yom Kipper, if the Old Covenant was still valid, you would have to sacrifice animals, and you yourself cannot do it.

You would have to find a Levitical priest to do it, and there is no tabernacle. It is just not functioning anymore. Can you not see that God has torn it down, that what you are doing is the equivalent of the worship of relics which is prevalent in another denomination?

Prophecy

You are worshiping relics. God has torn down your tabernacle, and if you want to go on in God you have to find the new tabernacle. It is spiritual, and it is in Jesus Christ, and it is for you to come home, saith the Lord.

Hallelujah.

The third Scripture with regard to the adoption refers to the Spirit Of Adoption. Romans 8:15, "For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the Spirit Of Adoption whereby we cry Abba, Father."

The Greek word translated "receive" means "to lay hold of." It is the exact opposite of the way it is translated. It means "to lay hold of, to seize, to take to oneself," glory to God. I am suggesting to you that you have not seized and taken hold of the Spirit Of Adoption.

In fact, Jesus Christ has seized, laid hold of and taken hold of you, wherefore you have received it. You have not received the Spirit Of Adoption because YOU have taken it. You have received it because YOU HAVE BEEN APPREHENDED BY JESUS CHRIST. He has chosen you, you have not chosen Him. God rules, man receives.

Remember the beginning of the teaching?  To be adopted or married means to come into submission. One of the biggest problems of man today is that he wants to believe that he did it. He still wants to be God. You cannot be God. You have to lay it down because you have to live by the life of Jesus Christ. You cannot be God, you are the servant.  Natural man, you are the servant, you are not God. Hallelujah.

Alternate Translation of Romans 8:15, "You have not been laid hold of by Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, again but you have been apprehended by the Spirit of Adoption for the express purpose of marrying you and making His Father your Father." Glory to God.

John 20:17 says, "And Jesus said unto her, Touch me not, for I am not yet ascended to my Father, but go to my brethren and say to them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and to my God and to your God." Hallelujah, glory to God.

That is the Spirit Of Adoption. We have not laid hold of it, He has laid hold of us. Glory to God.

The fourth Scripture with regard to the adoption refers to the birthing of the Son in us. It is Galatians 4:4-5, glory to God. "God sent forth His Son made of a woman, made under the law, to redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons."

We are being redeemed under the law that we might receive the adoption of sons. Glory to God, the adoption is in the Christ.

If you have the Holy Spirit, you do not have the adoption. We have been teaching this for weeks here now that the Holy Spirit is not the adoption. The Holy Spirit is the vehicle by which Christ will be birthed in you. The Holy Spirit is fertilizing your human spirit and causing the Christ to be birthed in you.

Christ is not appearing in the sky. The clouds that you are going to see Christ in are spiritual. I cannot get into that teaching now, it is too long. Christ is coming forth in you, that is why when you see Him you will be like Him, because He is coming in you. That is how every eye is going to see Him.

He is not going to be on television, brethren. He is coming in you. He is coming in your soul, He is coming in your spirit, He is coming in your personality, He is coming in your mind. Glory to God.

It is going to be as obvious as the lightening, from the east to the west, or is it the sun that rises from the east to the west? Hallelujah, glory to God. He is coming in you, you cannot miss Him. It is impossible, because if you do not let Him in, you are going to be in a warfare.  You cannot miss that one, glory to God.

John 3:6, "That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit." God is a Spirit, and He is coming by His Spirit, He is coming forth. First, He came forth as a natural man, Jesus, then He came forth as the Holy Spirit, and now He is coming forth as Christ, the Son.

God is everything, we are going to be a three-fold creation. The reason that we are having so many problems today is that we are incomplete. We are not a completed creation. There is a Scripture in the book of Proverbs that says a three-fold cord is hard to break.

We shall be a three-fold creation. We are a soul man, then the Lord came with the Holy Spirit, and He overlaid us with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit fertilizes our soul. The result of this is that Christ is born.  The Son of God comes forth in us, He overlays the Holy Spirit, and He overlays the natural man.

We shall be a three-fold creation; fallen adam, the living soul that died, which is female, and the Holy Spirit, which is female to Christ, and the Son, which is the male offspring in the likeness and the image of God, all joined in there together.  The name of the whole is "the creation of God." Hallelujah, thank you Jesus.

Hallelujah, the creation of God, the three-fold creation of God joined in every element of our being, Hallelujah.

I John 3:7-10, "Little children, let no man deceive you, he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the Devil; for the Devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the Devil."

Glory to God, this is what is happening, brethren. "He that sinneth is of the Devil." That is the soul man, he is ruled by Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, and he sins. Then we get this salvation experience, and we have Christ birthed in us. What determines whether we sin or not, wherever we are in God, is the mind that is on top, ruling the whole man.

If the carnal mind is on top of Christ, we sin, but if Christ, the one without sin, is on top of the carnal mind, we do not sin.

Now, verse 7, "Little children, let no man deceive you, he that doeth righteousness is righteous." That is Christ.

Verse 8, "He that committeth sin is of the Devil; for the Devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested." For what purpose? That we should not sin anymore. For that purpose. The one who sins is of the Devil. The one who is righteous, he is Christ.

A lot of people cannot understand this Scripture. They say, "I am saved, I am born again, I am sanctified, I am filled with the Holy Ghost. How can I sin?" Because everything that you just said is not true.

What happened to you is that you are now in two parts, you are two men, or a double-minded man. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, sins. He cannot help it.  It is his state of being, it is his nature to sin. I cannot take a child, and make him do some disciplined act for an hour. He is not capable of doing it, he cannot do it.

Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is unrighteous, he cannot be righteous, he is incapable of it.

Christ is righteous, He is incapable of sinning, and the two men that you now are, are in there together. Now, because this confusion exists, for this purpose, was the Son of God born so that these two should be made one under the total authority of Christ, and be called the creation of God, or the Sons of God. Hallelujah, glory to God, Hallelujah!

We are up to number five. I believe this is the last, and it is with regard to the adoption of the body. Romans 8:23, "And not only the creation, but we also who have the first fruits of the spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption to wit, the redemption of our body." Hallelujah, glory to God.

Now, we see here a great mystery, brethren.  Paul says there are many bodies: 1 Corinthians 15:36-42:

36, "Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

37, And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

38, But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

39, All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

40, There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

41, There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

42, So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43, It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44, It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body." KJV

I suggest to you, brethren, that the body that is being redeemed is the spiritual body since our vile physical body is formed by the corrupt carnal mind. When we ascend above this spiritual plane, we will receive a body formed from the substance of that ascended plane.

I Corinthians 15:23 tells us that Christ is the first fruits of the Spirit. What is Paul saying? He is saying that even we that have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we that have Christ are still suffering. We are groaning, and we are waiting for the adoption, which is the redemption of our spiritual body.

Jesus Christ has bought back our spiritual body, which we lost when we entered into the prison house of this vile physical body. This nightmare is going to be all over. For some people it has been more of a nightmare than for others, but most of us have been through a pretty hard time.

The end, or the final result, of the adoption of our soul is the redemption of our spiritual body. Hallelujah.

Revelation 14:4 says, "These are they which were not defiled with women, for they are virgins, and these are they which followed the Lamb whither so ever He goeth, these were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and unto the Lamb." Hallelujah.

No matter what your sin has been, no matter how black your heart has been, no matter what you have been into, God can cleanse you and make you new.

He can bring you to a spiritual place where He calls you a spiritual virgin. He can do it, so there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus for those who are called according to His purposes.

There is not anything that is not fixable. No matter what you have done, no matter what you have thought, you are fixable, but do not go around saying you are fixed when you are not, because what that does is block you from getting fixed.

He can make you a virgin again, but when He makes you a virgin again, He makes you a virgin for the purpose of following the Lamb whither so ever He goeth. You are not cleansed to run out and sin. You are His, you are His. He is apprehending you for Himself.

We are dealing with the Scripture that says, "and not the creation, but we also who have the first fruits, we who have Christ, even we groan, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body."

Before our spiritual body is redeemed, our soul must be redeemed, we must be made spiritual virgins. There is your healing and your deliverance, brethren, there is your healing and your deliverance.

Your soul must be cleansed first. Your spiritual body does not get returned to you until your soul is cleansed. That is the way God does it. I am sorry if you do not like it, but that is the way it goes. Hallelujah, glory to God.

Luke 17:34 says, "In that night there shall be two men in one bed, the one shall be taken and the other left."

Most of you are familiar with this Scripture. There are three parts to it, two men in a bed, two women grinding at the mill, and two men in the field. I just want to point out to you that the words "two men" and "two women" have been included by the King James translators, but the Greek says that "there were two."

There were two in the bed, there were two grinding at the mill, and there were two in the field. The two lying in a bed, we have touched on that in these meetings. The Scriptural significance of lying in a bed is spiritual weakness. When we are spiritual men, we are going to be standing up in full spiritual strength.

What the Lord is saying is, on that night.  On what night? On the night that the Lord raises us up to full spiritual power, Hallelujah.

Our bodies are not flying into the clouds, it is a spiritual rapture. That word "rapture" is not Scriptural, but I am going to try and reach you in your understanding where you are. There is no physical rapture of the body. We are not going to another planet.

What is happening is that we are being elevated from a soul man to a spiritual man. We have been weak, we have been lying down in a bed. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, has us tread underfoot, and God is going to stand us up in spiritual power. That is what the rapture is, if that is what you want to call it.

Brethren, we are a soul man. Satan, the unconscious part of our carnal mind, is the god of this world. Our human spirit is the one that God is joining Himself to.  It is the element of us that is being redeemed.

Then, when we are joined to God, our soul is saved. Our spiritual life is strengthened and then it goes in spiritual strength and overtakes the fallen soul. That is what is happening.

God is reaching us in this one little place, our spirit, separating us out unto Himself, and giving us power to go back and take over the whole soul which is coming with us. That spark of life that is within us is being redeemed and then saving our soul.

Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is the god of the Old Man and this is our life down here in this world of appearance, where he is ruling us.  He is controlling us. We are in bondage, he is fornicating with us and is raping us at will, and as a result of this, we have produced evil fruit in our soul.

We have produced demons, because the human soul is that part of us which produces the fruit of the spirit. Christ Jesus, our New Man, is the fruit of the spirit of God, and demons are the fruit of the spirit of Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind.

We are two men, the Old Man, fallen Adam, and the New Man, Christ Jesus, in one bed, one physical body of death. Christ Jesus will be caught up to His Father, the glorified Jesus Christ.

We are two men in a bed, that is our condition. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is there and we are tread under his authority. Then Christ comes into our life, and now there are two men. When Christ comes into our life He is lying down.

I cannot work miracles like Jesus worked. I am somewhere and you are somewhere in the process, but we are not in full stature of spiritual power. In that night when God has determined you are going to be caught up into full spiritual power, one is going to be taken and one is going to be left.

What that means is that Christ is going to take over the whole vessel. That is what it means.

God is going to fully join Himself to you. He is coming in by His Spirit and He is going to fully join Himself to you, and you are going to rise up and you are going to be one with Christ. Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is going to be tread under the feet of Christ. You are no longer going to be two men in a bed, no one is going to be in a bed.

Now, you are going to be Christ, King, and have your spiritual life in Him. You are going to appear with Him. That is after you are chosen. That is the rapture. It has nothing to do with the sky. It is what is happening to your soul.

Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is going to be overtaken. His name will not even appear any more. He is in there, but he is so buried under Christ that he will not be seen or heard.

I keep passing those barriers on the highway on the Long Island Expressway. They are building all of these cement walls, and they are broken because they are in the middle of construction. They have metal rods just coming out, just sticking out.

Then somewhere along in their construction they are going to put another block of cement on top, so the block is all filled with metal that makes the cement strong. That is what Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is. When you look at the wall, what do you call it? You call it a cement wall. Do you call it a cement wall with metal rods in it? You call it a cement wall.

In the same manner, Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, will be an invisible structure within the creation when the carnal mind is destroyed. God shows this to me every time I walk by those barriers.

When we look at the renewed creation, Christ is King, and Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is there, but God does not even name him. Satan is the darkness, the part of us that makes us appear in the realm of appearance. God does not even name him, but he is in there.

That is what happens to you after you get caught up out of your bed. Hallelujah. "In the night there shall be two men in one bed, the one shall be taken and the other left." The Greek word "taken" means "to be joined to oneself, to take one's betrothed to his home."

The Greek word "left" means "to depart from one and leave him to himself so that all mutual claims are abandoned, to leave one by not taking him as a companion, to abandon, to leave destitute of God's help." He is just buried under the cement, he is forgotten.

Luke 17:35, "Two women shall be grinding together, the one shall be taken, and the other left." Glory to God, now that refers to the human soul, which is the personality. It is the human soul/personality that is caught up and is now brought into this place of glory.

The woman in the Scripture always refers to the soul realm, and to be grinding at a mill in the Scripture indicates slavery. When Samson was taken captive by the Philistines, his judgment was that he was blinded and he became a slave grinding at the millstone.

The two women grinding at the millstone are the personalities of fallen adam and the renewed personalities of Christ Jesus. There are two of everything in us.

If God is dealing with you, there are two of everything in you. You have two spirits, you have two souls, and you just have a spiritual body and a physical body.

You have the spirit of Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, and the spirit of Christ, the unconscious part of the Christ mind. You have the soul (personality) of fallen adam, and you have the renewed personality formed by Christ, because the two men are fighting for dominion over your life.

The one that controls your life is the one that manifests through your mind, personality and body. The two women grinding together, one was taken and the other left. The soul/personality that is in Christ is raised up in spiritual power, and the soul/personality that is in Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is left and abandoned.

Last but not the least, "There were two men in the field." This is the two spiritual men, the Old Man and the New Man, fallen adam and Christ Jesus, and the field is the human body. One was taken and the other was left.  The spiritual body was taken, and the physical body was left. The mind that is prevailing in us determines the substance that our body will be formed from. Our body does what our mind thinks. Glory to God.

Both fallen adam and Christ are possessing our vessel at this time. Even if you have come to a place where almost everything that you do results from the mind of Christ, fallen adam is still in there.

Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, is still in there, but at the end of the warfare, Satan, and the animal body that she generates, is going to be abandoned. Christ will fully possess our vessel.

You will not ascend into your spiritual body until your soul is glorified, until Jesus has totally overcome in you, overcome Satan, the unconscious part of the carnal mind, and overcome fallen adam, and is completely possessing you. Glory to God.

There will be no redemption of your spiritual body so long as the warfare continues.

I want to touch on a couple of controversial Scriptures. Luke 17:37, "And they answered and said unto them, Where Lord? And He said unto them, Wheresoever the body is thither will the eagles be gathered together."

In the Greek the word "body" is a dead body. The Greek word translated "eagle" is from a root that means to breathe unconsciously, respire. It refers to air or spirit. It is translated "eagle" from its wind-like flight.

John 3:8 says, and this is the Lord speaking, "The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou heareth the sound thereof, but canst not tell where it cometh, and whither it goeth, so is everyone that is born of the spirit." Glory to God.

My whole point is that the eagle refers to the spirit of God, and the body refers to the dead soul. What Jesus is saying is that when you find the dead living soul that died (which is the death of death, or the second death), that is where the spiritual Sons of God are, that is where they are standing in full spiritual strength.

You cannot have it until your fallen soul dies to the death of this world system.

God gave me a dream a few years ago. I was riding on a motorcycle. I was a thug. (All of us that are in the soul realm are criminals.) I was riding this motorcycle, and I was riding it up a mountain. I started to go right up the mountain and all of a sudden all of these people started screaming and crying. I had a black leather jacket on, and I just dropped dead. I was laying down at the bottom of the mountain, but there was something that was still me that was on this motorcycle.

It was going straight up the mountain, and it stopped about two-thirds of the way up. All of these sirens went off, and the alarms went off, and all of the police came out. They wanted to see who had entered into the spiritual realm and the spiritual power of God. They were coming out to see if it was illegal.  They were going to arrest me if it was illegal.

There was someone there saying, "No, she is all right, look down at the bottom of the hill." The police went down to the bottom of the hill, and they said, "Oh, it is a dead body, she is dead, she can stay up there."

As long as your soul has any power to manifest through you, your power in God is going to be limited. That was what Jesus meant. When your dead fallen soul dies to this present death, you are going to be raised up to full spiritual power in your spirit man. Glory to God, it is a very controversial Scripture.

I have one Scripture for you. It is just an admonition to throw yourself in line with the Lord. If you desire these promises, if you want to go on with God, this is what you have to do. The power of God is available to you to do it. You do not have to do it by yourself.

Romans 8:13, "For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die, but if through the spirit you do mortify the deeds of your body, ye shall live."

Colossians 3:5, "Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry." Verse 8-9 "... anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Lie not one to another...."

I tell you, brethren, there are so many believers that lie, it is really upsetting. They really think it is not important. There are no white lies, brethren, there are no white lies. You know you hurt people when you lie to them. For years I did not think there was anything wrong with lying, I had to get my mind renewed. I had to get my mind sanctified.

You want to know something else?  When people ask you a question and you refuse to answer them, it is the same thing as a lie. When someone asks you something, they are entitled to an honest answer. God wants you to be honest. He is bringing us to that place, and it is a blessing.

If you are honest to someone that is a carnal man, well, maybe he will knock you and say that you are weak because you have been honest.

If you come to another believer, or if you are in God and you want to admit that you cannot do something because you have a spiritual problem, God honors that. That is a blessing before God, to say, "I cannot do this because in some area I am not projecting the strength that I would like to project."

That is not putting yourself down, brethren. That is a blessing of God to be able to do that. You do that, and you watch God give you the strength that you need. You watch Him move, you watch Him move.

The last verse, Colossians 3: 10, "And put on the new man (if you mortify all of those other deeds and put on the new man), which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created Him." This means put on the new man which is renewed as a result of a full and intimate relationship with Him. Glory to God.

Become like God, we are called to be like God. By the power of His Spirit we can do it. Glory to God.
