LORD vs Lord

LORD vs Lord

I find it very interesting that after my perception that…

“In light of the weighty issues that the Lord has given us to study at LEM/CCK, I find the issue of Yahweh vs Jehovah
insignificant, because I do not believe it can contribute to the development of the Godhead within your body,”

… a weighty issue concerning the Name of God did, in fact, arise:

Further to our discussion about whether “Jesus is Lord” is the equivalent of “Jesus is LORD” (Tetragrammaton), the Lord told me this morning that I did not deal with the issue adequately, so I have written the following for you to consider:

TETRAGRAMMATON/YAHWEH/JEHOVAH (LORD) IS GOD:

Deut 21:23

23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

KJV

JESUS IS THE NAME OF GOD IN A BODY:

Col 2:9

9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

KJV

John 14:9-10

9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

KJV

JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD:

1 John 4:15

15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

KJV

JESUS IS A MAN:

1 Tim 2:5

5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

KJV

JESUS IS THE SECOND ADAM, THE LORD FROM HEAVEN:

1 Cor 15:47

47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

KJV

JESUS IS THE LAST ADAM:

1 Cor 15:45

45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

KJV

JESUS IS NOT GOD:

To say “Jesus is LORD” (Tetragrammaton) is to say, “Jesus is God.”

Not only is this not true, but it makes Jesus an idol, which is a violation of the second and third commandments.

JESUS IS Lord.

To say that “Jesus is Lord,” means that he is the Lord, or master of our personal life.

Aaron called Moses “Lord” in this context, as an act of submission and contrition:

Ex 32:22

22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.
